A great experience overall. Parking space is at a premium. The hike is a bit rough for the uninitiated. We paid 8 leva per adult. There is a tour every hour, the last one starting at 16.00. The cave was magnificent and worth the effort of going up the trail.

We went to see Uhlovitsa Cave when on vacation. It was a pleasant visit. Cave has lighting installed. It is a tour with a guide. They explain historical facts and etc. it’s worth the climbing to see it. Very recommended.

Spare some time to visit the cave if you are in the region and brace yourself for a 800m hike and many many stairs to the entrance itself.

Still it's definitely worth it, in my opinion one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria.

I strongly recommend visiting this cave.
It requires about 20 min walk uphill from the parking by the road.
There is a mandatory guided tour at every hour sharp. It costs 8 BGN. The tour is 45 min long.
There are no restrooms at the cave, but there is one by the parking lot - don’t expect it to be clean.

A unique cave with very rare dendritic formations (formed by still rather than moving water). It is one of the most beautiful caves in the region, if not the entire country. It is not recommended for people with mobility issues. The access to the cave itself requires climbing 150+ stairs and the movement through the cave itself is done primarily via staircases.

Wonderful! Magical!! You need weeks to explore, only 45 minutes is not enough... If I have an opportunity I will visit again!

The cave is beautiful inside, it was a very nice experience visiting it. You can enter every hour with a guide and the visit itself lasts about an hour. The guide is professional and tells a lot about the place. The way to the cave is a bit up, it takes about 20 minutes for a fit person and 40 minutes if you climb slowly, but still there is shadow and nice views from above on the Rodopi mountains.

Beautiful cave with lots of stairs inside. At the end of the cave tour, you'll see a wonderful sinter waterfall. But this is not one of the easy to visit places. To reach the cave entrance, you must climb almost a kilometer long hill path, and after that, maybe another three or four hundred metal stairs. It is a hard to get but worth to see landmark, get ready for fitness :)

A very beautiful cave! You have to walk uphill about 30 minutes, consider it when you plan to visit, as entering in a cave is scheduled on each round hour, but not before 4PM.

Beautiful and impressive cave where you walk in a high corridor between cracked and moved apart rocks. Entrance fee is 3 BGN, and there are tours every hour. The tour itself lasts about an hour.
In order to reach the entrance of the cave you have to go along a 800 m. steep path and climb 190 stairs. There are another 280 stairs in the cave.

Great place.Worth visiting! First there are several things you need to consider: after you park your car you need to be prepared for 15-20 minutes steep climb through rocky path; second challenge climbing approximately 200 steps; and finally you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the mountain and seeing the place you have parked your car you will realize what you have accomplished. From that point your journey of exploring the cave has began. Enjoy!!!

Wonderful cave with great rock formations. It makes you feel like you walking on a sea bottom. It takes some effort to climb up to the entrance as there are about 200 steps and a steep hill to walk up. However all efforts are repaid with the views inside the cave

Hard to reach, but the final result is worth it! 20 to 30 minutes of walking upwards, then another 10 minutes of stairs climbing to the entrance. Very beautiful cave! A lot of stairs in it

Gorgeous caves sporting stalactites/stalagmites and dendrites. The entrance starts 100m higher than the parking lot- so be prepared for a steep climb (20-30 min) - definitely worth it. Keep in mind the entrance is with a guide only and starts once every whole hour. Stunning view at the top.

A must see in the region! Tours happen on the hour 9-5. Arrive earlier though as it takes about 25 mins to walk up the trail to the cave entrance. This path includes quite a few stairs, so you'll work up the heart rate. Cost is minimal, but the tour is grand. Get about 45-60 mins in the cave, getting to see some great formations up close! Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Very picturesque cave, worth seeing. Wear comfortable shoes because there are a lot of stairs and climbing until you arrive, but the view and the cave are worth it.

A cave where you can see not only stalactites and stalagmites but a third kind of formation like corals. You have to be very full of energy to visit this cave because the way to the cave is only but foot and it is 800 meters and 180 steps. Sounds not so bad but actually the denivation is pretty high and it is hard. Nevertheless the experience is good, the entrance fee is 8 leva or 4 euros.
