Super traditional and good cooking bulgarian restaurant!!! We know about this place from local friend. We went here two times for Sach and soup. They are fantastic, very recommended. Also the owner is nice and welcoming.

Nice bar with some decor, and a restaurant where we hand some amazing pizza and chips.

The seating is very nice with indoor and outdoor option.

The outdoor they have a cute small terrace as well, which overlooks this immediate square and due to hill slant view it’s quite a view.

And yes there is table service for dine in.

Very friendly and attentive staff - they gave us good advice! Food was prepared with quality products and tasted perfectly. The atmosphere is nice as well - evergreen hits music, lots of plants. You will enjoy a lot of variety. And the best part - prices are pretty reasonable. I highly recommend the restaurant.

However, last time we came the waitress didn’t really pay attention to our table. It took her longer time to clean and was acting arrogantly and was very slow..

We stopped at Chicovci on our way back from Vitosha. It was on a Saturday, so the place was pretty full, but that did not affect the service in any way. The waitresses were running around with a smile on their faces. We had few things and they were all good. I would definitely recommend the place

Delicious homemade Bulgarian dishes in a traditional ‘Mehana’ style. I really enjoy the Mish Mash and Veal soup, but other dishes are also equally tasty. Great spot to stop in after a hike in the mountain.

I know the restaurant for almost 7 years. The food is still delicious and at good price. There are variety of dishes without meat. You should definitely try some of their specialties.

A traditional Bulgarian restaurant, which offer a great variety of dishes. As a vegetarian I was able to pick from a long list of options. The place is very convenient for people who come down from skiing or sbownoarding, and for this reason it is often crowded. Booking a table in advance is advisable.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. I recommend all the food and also the local beer and the desert. I had the chicken soup, the grilled pork neck, with fries and the shopska salad, the pancake, the ice cream cake and their local cake. The orange juice it is also very sweet and fresh. 👍👍👍

Nice local place. Wide range of traditional as well as main stream food on the menu. You can watch fotball there as well. Amazing food. Try the chicken hearts, soup and garlic bread!

The restaurant offers a wide range of traditional and delicious dishes. Ideal for both small and large companies. The tables are located on three levels, there is a large fireplace, which adds to the comfort in the cold winter months. The prices are very nice and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended for all occasions !

Great place for lunch and dinner for families and friends! Service and food is great. Serving traditional Bulgarian cuisine, barbecue and great variety of beers on tap! Definitely coming back!
