We really enjoyed staying here! This place is absolutely beautiful and the design of the rooms is perfection. People working here were super friendly, we would definitely stay again!

My wife and I have been staying at Ongul for the last 5 years now and do not plan on stopping this annual tradition. This is all because of the personal touch of both the owner and the employees at Ongul. The rooms are cozy and clean, the food is delicious, and the place feels like home. Our baby girl loved it too as she was beyond joyful waking up every morning expecting to see her beloved dogs somewhere in the big green yard 🫶

Unusual place in a genuine village. The rooms are all different and rustic, but comfortable. Very relaxing place. The best attraction to us turned out to be the horse ride. The horses belong to a separate business, but they grace in the hotel yard (the former school yard). The ride was 3h to a beautiful pond, and the guides - a married couple with college education turned horse lovers - were exceptionally friendly and interesting people. If you visit the hotel, make sure you check the horse ride.

The place is very very nice for large groups such as ours, has plenty of rooms to accommodate you. There is a restaurant onsite. We took a Bread-making class for our group and it turned out amazing, everyone just loved it. Rooms are of very good size and quality and very good value for money. Some of the accommodation have a kitchen with dining area so you can prepare your own food. Food at the restaurant was a bit pricy, overall was ok, nothing special. We also took arrow shooting class, which was not really a class, rather just practice, and I would not recommend. They also offer pottery class and horse riding, which are most probably well worth it. Kids friendly, lots of playing space green areas around outdoors, not much indoors though, so when its cold or dark, make sure to bring some indoors entertainment for the kids such as drawing stuff or board games. There is also a swimming pool which is open only in the summer.

Ongal and its hosts/staff are awesome! This is a top location to rest, do nice sightseeing in the region, go horse riding, do some pottery, drink local Karpachevo craft beer, enjoy the freedom and the nature! Thank you :)

Great place with amazing authentic atmosphere combined with all the necessary amenities! The hosts are very caring - they took good care for us, they made sure we had dinner prepared, even though we arrived very late at night after the kitchen had closed. The fireplace was prepared for our arrival too and we were invited to try the apples from their trees and even feed the horses ourselves if we'd like to :) The place also offers various activities like horse riding (with great care for the horses), rental bikes and bow-shooting lessons. There aren't many healthy options in the restaurant menu, but everything we tried was delicious! I definitely recommend this place.

There are 3 buildings for this business and they are all great. The main one is the biggest and with more standard rooms. The second one is "the barn" and it is as it sounds, very romantic and old-school designed but modern enough to be comfy and cozy. If you wish you can also participate in horse riding and there is a big front yard in front of the main building with Caffè and tables, swings, swimming pool.

Great place to chill and dabble in horse riding and bow shooting. The rooms are enormous and very well done, and the grounds well kept. The staff are friendly and flexible to make your stay enjoyable.
The restaurant offers decent and seasonal fare, better on the salads and mains than on dessert or breakfast. The dining service is a bit temperamental!

Chill place. Great for large groups, but fine also for couples. Give them a call if you're around and they will give you a way better last minute price than what is on offer on booking sites.

The place is very well made and the rooms are awesome. You have everything you would need-there is a pool, a very nice yard with good music, where you can just chill or even work, since there is WiFi around the whole place. Their kitchen is awesome, everything was very tasty and fresh. It has awesome atmosphere and in addition to it you will have horses just right next to you that are making the place even nicer! The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very nice, welcoming and positive. We had just one complaint. The bed in our room (number 7) was very, very noisy and made us wake up during the night, but this is something small and everything else makes you forget about it. Still, it would be nice if they fix this. Otherwise, I think this place is one of my favorites and it is extremely nice now and I cannot even imagine what it can become in future. You should reserve a room at least a week before, if you want to stay in the bigger rooms, since it seems quite busy. Can't wait to go back and try the room with the shower inside the room. Definitely recommend the place.

Amazing place in the nature! The rooms are spacious and very clean! The staff is friendly and helpful. You will definitely feel at home! Also the restaurant serves delicious food! I recommend the homemade sausages🤤 And if you feel adventurous you could choose from horse riding, bow shooting or renting a bike. Or you could just relax at the pool. Also nearby are the famous krushuna's waterfalls and devetash caves, so really plenty stuff to do😊

Wonderful place with enormous size luxury rooms. Food was tasty and the gists were very friendly and accommodating. The village is quite and clean and is a good base to go on short trips around and visit many natural wonders - caves, waterfalls, canions, etc.

We were in the main building which was once a school house. The rooms are in the former classrooms - quite big and with their own fireplace. Large king size bed and glass sower in the room.
Nice food and awesome staff. Also the horse rides are superb.

We were there last weekend with my boyfriend. The place is food, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It is in the nature, there is no noise from anywhere, so you can relax fully. People are nice and welcoming. Thanks for the amazing weekend!

Very nice hotels- silence, calmness and very nice staff. This Ongul houses are 3 houses pretty near one each other. In the main house is the reception, the restaurant, horse riding and archery. Restaurant - The food was good but the prices were a little bit higher. There is a swimming pool in the building with the reception. In this main house are archery and horse riding. We have 2 days full of relax because those houses are far away from the big cities and people there are full of good energy. For Vasil who will teach you about archery and horse riding- 10 points.

'Ongal' surprised us with beautiful style and comfort, large rooms, styled bathrooms and many detailed ideas. A restaurant with delicious and fresh regional food, we could savour under the trees or in the Buddha Bar. In the huge yard we also could swim, ride a horse, use the fitness, play.
Every question or request of ours was answered. Incredibly good people! Near by the Krushuna Falls and the Devetashka Cave, which we visited. Such a beauty! And one of the breathtaking experiences was the hang gliding. By car we reached many places. Just a perfect spot to be.

Highly recommended for relaxing week or weekend- excellent service, excellent food and logging. A lot of activities available around and on premises.
Good for all kind of configurations - with small kids, with young kids, with teenagers and with no kids :)

We spent a wonderful weekend staying in Ongal and visiting some of the many interesting places nearby - Krushuna falls, Devetashka cave, Garvanitsa cave and more. The people were great. And the food was delicious (with fresh homegrown products).

A wonderful place to have a nice rest. Big beautiful rooms, good kitchen, huge garden with horses and swimming pool. The owners are sweet and can tell u more about the region.

The old school - abandoned and then refurbished by people with love in their hearts. A countryside guesthouse with a restaurant with home dishes, vast yard, a swimming pool and horseriding. This is where the jam sessions of the Jazz Under the Stars festival in the open by the Garvanitsa cave happen.
