Механа "Чифлика"

We stopped at Ciflika today for lunch. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and also good food. The portions are not big but are sufficient for an average person. I do recommend this, there is no need to wait for an hour just to be seated at Happy. You will eat good and also the prices are ok.

A wonderful restaurant to sample true Bulgarian food. Food was amazing,the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. A must visit if in Rise. Can't recommend highly enough. Traditional Bulgarian music and dancing was a wonderful experience.

Very nice place. The food is typical, bulgarian, and local. The service is very friendly and quick. The decorations are also bringing you the "taste" of Bulgaria.
If I can bring only one suggestion, that would be more comfortable sitting options than the existing hard wooden chairs. Благодаря

An authentic Bulgarian dining experience. Huge portions expertly prepared. Live music weekend evenings. Always busy and with good reason. If you’re in the right location within the restaurant, you may get to see giant piles of meat set aflame!

Excellent air conditioning during the summer. Good food and polite, competent serving in a traditional Bulgarian ambiance. I went multiple times and had excellent experiences, whether the place was crowded or not.

You cannot believe a place like this exists! Best mixture of balkan food and the best atmosphere one can hope to gen in Ruse or any other town in Balkan.

Well, well...our first visit to Chifika restaurant...friendly wellcome...there is no problem with menu in English language, but a very nice waitress Aleksa, was our food guide...so we get all the explanations about food..and at the end of dinner, we were totally satisfied with ordered...
Conclusion: very nice evening with excellent food and drink in traditional Bulgarian restaurant, thanks to chef, staff and most of all, to Aleksa. I highly racommend. I'll be back...🤣

Good food but was served cold

On saturday night thet have a show with a singer and traditional dancers.
Food is good. Very divers.
You can smoke inside in some areas.
Waiters are dresed traditional.
Every detail in the restaurant is made to look traditional.

Lovely atmosphere, very cozy, great food, great service. The menu is translated in Romanian and English, which is great.
We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Very good restaurant. Placed OK in Rousse near Danube. Unbelievable taste of the food - unique recipe of bread, the service it is outstanding. Tips works fine in all currencies EUR, RON, USD, etc.

A great traditional Bulgarian restaurant. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have lunch menu and all grilled things on the menu are barbecued on the spot when you order them.
