Tierra Atacama Hotel & Spa

The hospitality we encountered at Tierra Atacama was beyond anything we had ever experienced. They ensured that every detail was covered, making our stay in Atacama smooth and tailored to our needs. I couldn't recommend it more. Both the manager, Paula, and the rest of the staff were exceptional, creating a welcoming atmosphere with warmth and genuine care. Our days at Tierra left us eagerly anticipating a return.

Wow. One of the best hotels I have stayed at and I have travelled a lot. The view is simply breathtaking. Everything was perfect from the welcoming to the service, food, spa and excursion organisation. Magical place. Highly recommend over any other hotels in Atacama. Couldn’t be happier.

Loved our time at Tierra Atacama. The hotel is wonderful, but like all the other Tierra locations, best part was how well we were taken care of by their amazing staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this most incredible hotel in this very special place.

FYI - They’re undergoing renovations in April 2024, but honestly, it was already so wonderful. I can’t even imagine how it’ll get better! Go go go!

Wonderful resort with friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent and includes fresh and local ingredients. The guides are superb and are both knowledgeable and adaptive. They made our visit to the Atacama memorable.

What a wonderful experience spending a few days with the staff and guides @ Tierra Atacama. All of our meals where excellent, diverse and consistent with a Chilean charm - the deserts are fantastic and try their in house ice creams. The Bar Service was well appointed and wonderfully staffed.

The wait staff was phenomenal - friendly would be an understatement and always went well beyond necessary to meet all of our requests, by the time we left they had my coffee at the breakfast table as they saw us approach! I will miss them all dearly.

The Guides and Excursions where all fantastic. Again highly professional, knowledgeable and an inviting team from the drivers to the guides ensures not only where the trips educational and enjoyable but safe and well developed to match the interest, environmental sensitivity and physical level of each groups. It was not uncommon for outings to consist of small groups of 4 - 6 guests with 2 guides. A special thanks to Tomas for being so patient and flexible as our interest and tours changed frequently as we found our groove in the desert.

The Spa - the absolute most under rated amenity had to be the Hot tub Bath offered in a private setting away from the venue. We had a lovely few hours to soak away the days hike and enjoy the tranquil sunset with a beautiful volcano view. I would highly suggest any couple whom is looking for a chance to relax and reconnect to book a Hot Tub Bath.

I wholeheartedly will say there is tremendous value in the experience and amenities the team at Tierra Atacama has to offer. I thank them for their kindness and hospitality- it was hard to leave and we appreciate all of them immensely. Looking forward to seeing you again in Patagonia.

A great stay. Thanks to Paola for making the stay very comfortable and to Gabby, Pau, and all of the guides, making the excursions unique and memorable. The food was great, and make sure you grab the cocktail of the day! If I had any advice, maybe create a sunrise and sunset excursion and maybe bring back the salt creek hike that was recommended to us but doesn't seem to be available anymore. Regardless, the experience was marvellous.

Such a wonderful stay. Location and property are stunning. However, what really made our stay so memorable was the hospitality and service. The staff are all excellent, friendly and accommodating… I wish I could name them all (kudos to the bartender, housekeeping, catering, guides and reception etc). The food was also brilliant. The two on-sight chefs whipped out amazing meals daily!

Headache free all inclusive fun. Wholeheartedly recommend!

This was my 2nd time in Atacama. 1st one I stayed on the city and hired all tours on a local agency. It was good! 2nd time with my wife I stayed in Tierra Atacama. Amazing!!! Everything was perfect and the tours much better. Better guides, food, cars and different spots away from the crowd. Give yourself this splurge :)

Fantastic excursions and staff who really know how to look after their clients. Amazing landscape and the hotel is well set up to cater for those who like creature comforts and the outdoors. Hot springs, hiking up a volcano (you need to be there for a few days to do this), hiking through some amazing landscapes and then home to a great meal (would suggest you ask for the alternative menu every now and then - the meals are a little less full-on).

The Best - Simply the Best...! What a terrific experience... Wonderful rooms, exceptional food, very well organized and executed tours and excursions, great service. The Tierra chain is truly the best...

The additional outdoor shower was a very pleasant plus (and can be very romantic...)!

"Boston", the bartender was terrific - we were introduced to Pisco Sours, with Rica Rica (yum and perfect in the dry heat of the Atacama. And while all of the guides were excellent, Lilly can only be described as truly "special"...!

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms are amazing with views of the mountain. The food was spectacular. The excursions were supreme. All inclusive. Definitely want to go back.

This is an incredible facility. The rooms are easily some of the best I’ve stayed in. The view of Licankabur is unparalleled. The food on the all inclusive package is great (some of the best vegetarian dishes we had the entire trip - not to knock down the meat at the place which was also pretty good). The hotel staff are very friendly and try their best to accommodate all requests even when there is a language barrier. We generally felt the training the guides receive could be slightly improved. Nevertheless, the experience was impeccable over all. To end on a quick tip, we did feel the hotel staff underplayed how nice a quick trip to San Pedro could be from the hotel.

This past February we were booked for a 5 night stay at Tierra Atacama. Upon arriving we were informed by the Hotel that the Federal Government had shut down all national parks and the roads in and out of town due to flooding following the biggest rainfall even 75 years. The hotel was wonderful in organizing in-house events and tastings to keep us occupied. Needless to say the food and bar offerings were top flight, the staff accommodating and quarters clean and comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and views stunning (when we could see them through the breaking clouds). To top it off, the hotel gave us a 50% refund as we were not able to do most of the activities we had planned on when booking the trip. We plan on returning to the Tierra Atacama in the near future to do all the things we wanted to do but couldn't. i hear June is a great time to see the stars.

Had an amazing stay in this gorgeous and beautifully decorated hotel! Stayed for a few nights, having lunch and dinner at their wonderful restaurant. Also did tours and enjoyed the spa - massages and pools. The staff was really friendly and caring.

Great all inclusive hotel. The restaurant is excellent. The excursions are usually done with groups of 6 persons or less. And the guides are very knowledgeable.
