Nel and his team did an amazing job! We had a proper briefing, good equipment and bicycles.

Furthermore Nel told us the history of the death road and anecdotes from his experience as a guide. The buffet at the resort was tasty.

Altitude travel is more expensive than other travel agencies but every cent worth it.

The Death Road Biking tour with our guide Nelson was awesome. The bikes were in great condition and the vibe was great.

Amazing experience cycling the death road with Nelson and Eloy. We opted for the mid priced dual suspension tour, which seemed a lot more premium than the hardtail group (which had about 10). There were only 4 in our group and both the guides were attentive, funny and caring the whole time. The bikes, although a bit tired, were well maintained and performed well.

The best bit...Altitude are the first tour group to be on the death road, it felt like we had the whole road to ourselves and were not fighting for pictures with other tour groups.

We had a fantastic experience and would fully recommend Altitude to anyone wanting to ride the death road.

Had a great Death Road Tour with this agency and very good guides. Can recommend this very much as they were punctual, cool and funny and safety was always most important. Equipment was very good and quite new! Love this tour!

I had a great time completing the Death Road with Nelson and Oliver! They really cared that we had a great time and that we were safe. The speed was at your own pace which I appreciated! The bikes were also in great condition with dual suspension! I recommend Altitude Travel for the death Road

We did the death road tour and really enjoyed it! we felt safe all the time - they're also checking the bikes throughout the tour all the time. The tourguides gave us great instructions and were really motivating. It was a very positive vibe all the time.

We enjoyed the fog out of it!!!! Very safe and laser focus, Nelson contributed the group as a fun and outgoing leader. Would recommend anyone, no other group was there it seemed private. Suits helped a lot. Also, I dont recommend the buffet lunch I got my first food poisoning in South america just be weary.

Edit: I forgot to say about the bikes!!! Fantastic bikes that surely make you more comfortable and confident!! I can bet that if I had a regular average bike I would have fell many times.

I initially did the Chacaltaya and Moon Valley tour for 120bs as a girl in my hostel recommended them after doing the Death Road tour with Altitude. Due to enjoying this day tour I then booked for the 3 day Huayna Potosi tour with Altitude too, for 1050bs. Overall I really enjoyed all 4 days spent with Altitude tours, the guides were great, the equipment for Huayna Potosi generally brilliant (the boots were uncomfortable and mitten gloves impossible to do anything with, but clothes and outer layers fantastic) and all pretty good value. I would say take the timings with a pinch of salt e.g. Chacaltaya tour was meant to be 8:30-17 but was actually 9-16 and we were meant to get back from Huayna Potosi between 1-2pm but arrived 2:30pm. The entrance fees for Chacaltaya and Huayna Potosi weren't included nor was the sleeping bag. I would definitely recommend this company for good value and highly memorable tours

Incredible experience with this agency, you can see the passion the guides have when explaining everything about death road. The bikes were in good conditions and the team was all prepared for any inconvenience that might arise.
At the beginning we were doubting about choosing this agency but then we realized that when your life may be in danger you always have to choose THE BEST.

We did the death road tour with Nel and Luis. They were amazing! I am quite a chicken and road pretty slow. But Luis was always driving with a good distance behind me so the boys could have their fun and I never felt stress 😊 they also checked all our bikes at every stop. We had so much fun and felt very safe.

It was an amazing tour down the death road! The instructions were really clear and easy to understand. Overall the trip was super save and we had soo much fun!! We also made some great pictures and videos throughout the way. Would definitely recommend Altitude Travel!

Great company, can highly recommend them! We did the Death Road bike tour and had a brilliant experience. Whilst you can’t get away from the fact that you’re cycling fast next to dangerous steep cliffs, I felt really safe the whole time thanks to our two guides Rodrigo & Machine. They gave us helpful information along the way, made sure we took breaks and gave us nice snacks and drinks along the way. And their positive energy was infectious!

Great company to do this once in a lifetime experience. What a journey! We went from cold to warm in a matter of hours. The road is a bit rough if you are a beginner to mtbing. But you are able to go at your own pace and have experienced guides the whole time. Our guides Nelson and Eloy were particularly great, taking care of us and telling us about local history. Great experience!

very well organized tour. the bikes are checked at every stop. safety and comfort play an important role. very motivated and considerate guides. an extremely eventful day. heavily recommend it, worth the money.

The Death Road is not as dangerous as I imagined as the path is wide and there are trees and barriers on the cliff side for the large part. One can comfortably go at one'sownspeed to ensure safety -perfect for a complete beginner like me. Altitude Tourism provided all the instructions, equipment and snacks we needed to complete the route well. A team member was in front and another at the back with the van the whole time so we were well looked after. Our guide Rodrigo took lots of photos and videos for everyone, which was amazing. What I particularly appreciated was Rodrigo's high energy, friendliness and attentiveness. He made sure I had extra fruits because I did not eat the other snacks. The mechanic Adhemar was also friendly and communication from the office was very good before the tour. Nothing to fault!

We had such a good time on the camino de la muerte, the views were incredible but even better was all of the help / tips given from Nelson and the team that ensured we had an amazing, safe ride. I was a bit sceptical before booking as I don't have so much experience doing bike rides but I felt completely at ease and was able to fully enjoy the day. Would 100% recommend

I had the best time biking death road with Altitude! Love that they start earlier than other groups so we had the whole road to ourselves. Nelson is an amazing guide and made everyone feel safe and comfortable while still keeping the vibe light and fun. Definitely recommend!
