Sunrise Park

In my honest and humble opinion, this is one of the most underrated parks and a hidden gem in the city. The park sits atop a hill, and the reason it is called Sunrise Park is very obvious in summer.

This is hands down one of the best spots in the city for watching sunrises in summer unless you live on top of a mountain. Sunsets aren't bad either. How to test a few photos just for reference.

The particles as a baseball diamond and a soccer field, two separated playgrounds for children, a clubhouse including washrooms, water fountain, a space for adults to do exercises (we're quite a few people dance in the warmer evenings of the year). And this is an amazing spot for tobogganing in the winter.

Although this is a very residential park I do hope more people from the city get to visit the spot as it is definitely an amazing vantage point to watch mountains, sunrises, the city to the East, and much more.

Great hilltop views to the East for ‘sunrise’ - overlooking the Burnaby towers and Rupert St. traffic. The North Shore mountain views are also spectacular. Big sports field set up for baseball and soccer. Lots of wonderful trees. A nice playground, too. There’s a building for community groups - and there was a morning exercise / Tai chi group stretching out in the empty wading pool. Looked like a good time was had by all - including the dogs 🐕‍🦺

Because its amazing....its one of my go to place when I feel down or scattered. All the puppers come there to play with their parents can cheer you up within 5minutes.

My favourite place to bring my Labradoodle, Marley for a run. It has a stunning view of the mountains. I only wish there were more dogs for him to play with!

Beautiful park for the sunrise and summer sunsets.

It's a beautiful little park on a Little hill. Dogs can run around off leash as long as you are mindful of the neighbours and other visitors to the park. Friendly neighborhood though and there is always something happening at the park, like elderly practicing taichi or teenagers practicing savings goals ...and a crazy dog to mix things up running from one end of the park to another. Never a dull moment at this park :)

Such a great place in East Van with a view overlooking the northern neighbourhoods and mountains. The small community centre building hosts a bunch of different groups and activities. There's a nice playground outside for young kids and the grass fields are nice for casual baseball, soccer, ultimate and volleyball.

Tha view is always breathtaking, I even come here to watch the Sunrise ( perfect name ) the washrooms are usually open & clean , can even see some Chinese groups practicing their Dance Routines.
This proves how Beautiful BC is , you don't even have to drive for hours to Enjoy the View.

Favourite park to bring my dog to. There is always at least one friend for him to play with. Never stressed about garbage or anything for him to get in contact with. Besides being a good park for Marley to run around at, it's a great place for those looking for a well groomed field for soccer, baseball, or any other field athletics.

There's a Crab apple 🍏 tree in the corner and you can pick them when they're ready. It's never crowed and most of the time in the shade. Very family area and quiet
