We visited for weekend tea and were pleased with our experience.

The English breakfast tea latte was spot on, complemented perfectly by a decadent double chocolate cake. Our son enjoyed the pasta with tomato sauce, which was well-prepared and flavorful.

The staff was friendly and attentive, though the cafe was bustling and a bit crowded. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm.

Overall, this caffe provided a lovely setting for a family outing with delicious food and welcoming service.

This cafe is worth going if you’re around the area. The interior space is huge with many tables and chairs. I came here for lunch and ordered a pasta dish. Service was quick and the pasta was on point! Cooked all dente, served hot, creamy, and in the perfect portion. I didn’t get to try their pastry and coffee so I need to come back. A downside is that they don’t have enough parking spots.

Awesome place for young-at-hearts of any nationality. Love the vibes and pop music keep playing. Coffee and hot chocolate are both great! We ordered waffles and fried chicken and double chocolate as desserts! Yummy indeed! Remind us for our travel experience in Seoul and Shanghai's Brown Sixty & Mr. Pancakes ❤❤❤❤

On our way home from Vancouver, we stumbled upon a new pastry shop in Burnaby that we had heard about on Instagram. Intrigued by the rave reviews, we decided to stop by for some desserts.

As we arrived, we were met with a long line extending out the door. Despite the line, we decided to take our turn, and to our delight, the line moved quickly.

Once inside, we were greeted by a spacious hall with ample seating and a beautifully landscaped interior. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable.

I initially thought it was a cafe, but the place feels more like a restaurant. I love the tall ceiling and the spacious layout, which gives it a gallery-like atmosphere. My friend and I usually chat for long hours, and sometimes we have to move if the place gets busy to help with the flow of customers. However, the beauty of this large restaurant allows us to stay longer without feeling guilty. The food was good, and I was glad to see some healthy options, like the squid ink bread.

It’s a nice place with a pleasant atmosphere, though it’s quite busy. The food is decent, and the amazing natural light from the skylights gives it a very open feel. I had a good time with friends.

Unbelievable food and the portions are gigantic. Love the look and atmosphere. Make sure you come early, the line after we arrived was out the door. Worth the wait if you end up having to though.

This place is a hidden gem. Super cute with vines all over the building. There is always a lineup because it is so delicious. The pastries are amazing.

This cafe is very instagrammable. Love the food. The cakes are the best. My favorite is the oreo cake! Had so many visits here and will definitely come back many times more.

Located in Burnaby, La Forest has 3 locations - Jubilee (Burnaby), Royal Oak (Burnaby), Austin (Coquitlam).…and it’s done very well!

Coming to recommended cafes like this makes me genuinely happy. Great service, coffee that matters, and beautifully made pastries that are equally wonderful in taste. Not just picture perfect as we often see, real food for real people.

I really like this place and honestly don’t understand why the Google Review score is only 4.2. The coffee is good, and the food is really great, at least the desserts. It has a good environment and location. It’s kind of expensive, but it is a good place to hang out with your partner or friends.

2nd round to visit this cafe during the trip. Super nice of their foods🥪🥐🍰☕and staff. Memorable place to have my favorite Bakery and coffee in Burnaby🥰😋😊🤗

This place is a well oiled machine that churns out fantastic food with a well organized service system. Even during mid-afternoon on a weekday there is still a steady line of people being served quickly and seating was almost full (even though ample seating). Visit extra early on weekends ... we were there at 9:30am on a Saturday and we parked 2 blocks away on Jubilee (residential street parking). So far everything we have tried has been superb (spicy bulgogi sandwich, matcha waffle, beef panini, spanish latte, nutella latte, all cream filled croissants, etc.). All cream filled baked goods are out of this world and visit early to get the pick of the bunch.

So many little things that make this place great! We went on a Tuesday morning and it was popular yet there was space. It didn’t feel crowded or noisy. Some of their bread is infused with squid ink. The flavour is the same but a unique twist. I am pretty naive regarding french food everything tasted awesome. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything togo because the aapearance is lost.

The shop looks small on the outside but inside is very big and has many tables to dine in. Have a variety of breakfast and dessert items, and not too noisy ambient. Price is reasonable. They also have sockets to charge phones and laptops, good for travelers and remote workers.

To remain at 4.2 stars after 5.2k Reviews is by itself extremely impressive. It’s actually very rare that I find a Vancouver hotspot that has over 5000 reviews.

So here’s mine. Five stars for sure for being in the middle of nowhere yet so crowded and swamped even on a Monday afternoon. Five hours for service and ambiance AND Food.

I love this place - visited from Calgary and I really wish this place would consider branching out to us. The selection of food and pastries is exceptional and the atmosphere feels casually fancy. The service is prompt and even when it’s super busy it seems like you can eventually find a seat. Loved this place so much that we went back the next day to try different items off the menu! Do not be intimidated by seeing a line up - it moves quickly!

THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY AMAZING!! Like seriously tho like the ambiance is very aesthetically pleasing! Interior design is very unique and it's giving Paris vibes for sure! I ordered the Fettuccine pasta and I tell you it’s the best pasta I’ve ever taste in my whole life! So freaking delicious!! The sauce is flavorful. Their iced matcha latte (non espresso) is also the best matcha I’ve ever tried! Seriously I’m not exaggerating here but my overall experience was definitely a 1000000/10! Love this place!

It’s so good that it’s always crowded. They have the best desserts in town. My favourite are blueberry pastry and mango cream croissant. I ordered birthday cake from here which was also amazing.
