Riverside Park

This park is a solid spot for a walk or to take the kids out. There's a good path for walking, a carousel that the kids seem to love, and a playground that's got everything they need. The garden's pretty neat too, with lots of well-kept flowers. There's this bench in the garden where you can sit and just look out at the river. If you're up for a bit more walking, there's a butterfly garden about 10 minutes from the entrance, just across a bridge. It's a chill place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and there are plenty of benches if you want to take a break. They've also got a frisbee area that's usually pretty busy. Definitely a great place for a family day, and you can even bring a barbecue if you want.

Beautiful park. The carousel & the train rides are so affordable, $2.90 per ticket. My children had so much fun. We love coming to this park.

This is a beautiful well kept park! Bring the kids … especially on weekends when the train should be running… plus maybe the old carousel. Squires will come to you looking for nuts - maybe be prepared (shhh not supposed to feed wild animals)

Nice park in guelph with good picnic shade. Every year before Father's Day, there are multicultural festivals celebrated. Big park with small train and beautiful park.

Peaceful place to spend time in natural green atmosphere with nice small check dam good place for children to play. There is also a toy train for kids in the park

Our kids have always enjoyed the carousel 🎠 and like the train (even more when they were younger). The park has lovely gardens, picnic areas and shelters and hosts many great community events (multicultural festival, ribfest, vegfest, etc. Etc.)

This place is really nice. It's always worth going there. I used to go there often. It really soothes your mind and body.

Riverside Park in Guelph is a lovely green space with a charming river running through it. It's a great spot for a leisurely walk or a relaxing picnic with family and friends.

Offers much enjoyment at the play structures where they have placed rubber mats for trips and falls. Train ride is fun for younger children. Concession stand is welcomed with icecream for all ages. Washroom facilities and picnic opportunities as well.

A lovely park that is great for families. You can find rides for children (carousel, train, play structure), picnic tables, beautiful trails to walk, and a concession stand. A great place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

Riverside Park remains my favourite park to visit in the city, it's so welcoming and well kept. There's plenty of events held in the park throughout the year, especially summer days.

Bring your children there's so much to do and see. All are welcome. Bring a friend and grab a snack. Come and be among different members and groups in the community.

Respect the geese they run everything secretly.

A good place to go with family. The train & carousel are fun to ride with reasonable charges. Ice cream shop is good and lots of play area & activities for kids. Good place to sit bear water for adults.

I live in Waterloo & went to this park for the first time in Guelph & I gotta say it is one of the beautiful park I have seen so far. It is well maintained & very clean. They have a big play area for kids & amazing small waterfall. The washrooms were amazingly clean as well.

This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Guelph. The gardens are gorgeous and are immaculately well kept. The “flower clock” brings back memories of visits from when I was a kid. Still feels kind of magical.

The actual park here is awesome too. The first slide my daughters ever went down is the “roller slide” here that moves a little slower than a regular slide.

They put on a pretty good Christmas light show that is worth seeing (the last two years it’s been a drive through event).

On top of all that, there are lovely walking paths that follow the speed river all the way towards Guelph Lake!

Riverside is a must visit for people in Guelph.

Beautiful park, great scenery and play area for kids with tunnel slides. Kids had so much fun. It also has EV chargers which is a big bonus.

I come here for the disc golf. It's a great, clean, well maintained course and an awesome place to introduce new players to the sport and is very efficiently parked in the neat little corner beside the river.
