Buon Gusto Restaurant

Group of 7 enjoyed a birthday lunch yesterday and Buon Gusto did not disappoint. Food came out promptly and was fresh, hot and delicious. Service was exceptional from Heather. From start to finish she was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. With over 20 years in service and hospitality I can tell you, Service is Everything. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to visit again.

One word... Amazing!

The staff was so friendly and incredibly efficient. Our server Sarah was incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of the Menu, from the cocktails to the wine to the food. She had some amazing recommendations with the seasonal Peaches Over Etna cocktail and the Chianti Riserva wine. All the dishes were plated beautifully, and packed with flavour. Can't wait to come back!

I cannot recommend Buon Gusto enough. Amazing staff. Delicious food. Friendly and casual atmosphere. I’m going again tonight and taking more people with me. Everyone needs to try this amazing restaurant. You’ve got to eat here. SO good!!!!

From not so good service experience with receptionist to an amazing recovery by the restaurant manager! Visited from New Jersey and had no idea reservations were that crucial.
After swift recovery our dine in experience was divine and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone locally or from far. Will definitely will be back as we are regular at coming to that area one or twice a year. Now go and make your reservation! Food is just mouth watering good. 🙌🏻

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale, the service was great and the food was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced. I loved my gnocchi and my husband loved his bolognese. They gave us gelato for our anniversary. It was a wonderful meal and we will definitely be back. These sort of restaurants that serve genuinely good quality food in a sweet atmosphere are few and far between.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner at Buon Gusto! Decent portion sizes, excellent food and service with a bonus greeting from the owner (very much an involved leader who clearly values relationships with customers). I had the Shrimp Genovese and my husband ate the Lobster Ravioli - you could taste the fresh ingredients and the ravioli was decadent and creamy. My children ate pizza and were quite filled! Would definitely visit again .

Visiting Guelph from out of town and this restaurant was great! Cameron was our server and he was really hard working and did a great job. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the vibes here are great. Food is pretty reasonably priced too.

Really recommend the mushroom arancini and the wood fired pizzas. We tried the arugula prosciutto pizza and the buon gusto pizza and both were great.

One of the best place you should visit in Guelph. In the center of downtown.
Excellent service !
Food is superb. Drinks also really good and cheaper than in other places.
Interior is also a brilliant. And washrooms is really good with all you need inside.
Highly recommended place for everyone.

My husband and I decided to eat here for our anniversary and all I can say is that the entire experience was a 20/10! PHENOMENAL!!!

It has been years since we have had a high quality, beautiful place to nosh. Buon Gusto is it! This is now our favourite place to eat, we cannot express our gratitude to find a restaurant like this, especially so close to home! The food was amazing - we had the calamari arrabbiata and the crispy pork belly apps to start followed by beautiful entrèes and ended with the most perfect macchiato. The timing of the meal in between the appetizers was perfect, gave us time to digest before the mains came. Everything we ordered was phenomenal.

Magda was our server, she was absolutely delightful, and made our entire experience. She was the best we’ve ever had to be honest! So warm, personable, attentive and we felt so well tended to.

Thank you Buon Gusto for making our entire day! We will definitely be regulars going forward.

It’s been a week and a half and I am still dreaming of the delicious burrata. Food was absolutely scrumptious, service was lovely and the outdoor patio where we sat was perfect. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Service was excellent! Ambiance too. Calamari was extremely delicious and fresh. Octopus was charred a bit over.

Always a great restaurant to visit. The quality of the food and service is always top notch. There are gluten free options if you so require. This restaurant can get quite busy so make sure you plan accordingly.

First time experiencing this restaurant and it was incredible! I had a delicious pizza and even tried some octopus and calamari for the first time. I can't wait to return and try more delicises. Our waitress was also very helpful and kind.

Buon Gusto is one of the best restaurants in Guelph. Classic and timeless menu, amazing food and atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff - being a Guelph local, it feels like family; it feels like home.

Enjoyed the dazzling pork belly, a delectable gnudi - double points on ricotta instead of potato, and a shared a few pies with my wife and twins. Alex and Ali were extremely attentive and accommodating.. so much so, that an unpredictable night out with our 13 month-old twins turned into something really fun and special because they treated us like family and made sure our every need was covered. Kudos to the whole team, you rock!

This place was amazing! Came here for a lunch reservation, got some cocktails, split the bruschetta and tried a couple pizzas. Ordered the miele drogato and the pistachio pizza - both were fairly big and super flavorful!

It’s a pretty busy spot definitely recommend booking a table ahead, looking forward to coming back to try more from the menu!

Delicious food and vibe. The pizza crust was cooked really well and it was one of the better pizzas I’ve had at an Italian restaurant. Service was great and super quick

We have been to Buon Gusto multiple times in the past. We have even hosted 2 baptisms here. Service is always excellent, I like that they are not constantly coming to your table and rushing you. Makes it a more enjoyable meal with family.
We had their mushroom soup always delicious, kind of hope the portion be smaller as goodness did it fill me up quickly. Pizza for the kids and my husbands pasta was perfect. My lasagna was a good size but bit burned, only down size to it.
Desserts were excellent. Our server was lovely.
Wonderful Mothers Day dinner.

It was a fun experience eating midday and practically having the whole place to ourselves. I did get a little bit of resistance when I asked to move to the comfier bench seating, which was odd since the place was empty. Otherwise, friendly staff, good food.

We had a wonderful dinner here. Hosts were welcoming and we were seated promptly. Our server Deanna was amazing - very friendly and attentive without being overbearing and anticipated all of our needs. Great service seems to be a dying art but Deanna is 5*s. We enjoyed the pear & walnut salad and mushroom arancini, gnocci and shrimp genovese. Everything was very flavourful. Can't wait to return!
