Update 01/11 - I am updating this review due to the excellent customer service the company provided to re deliver the goods (flash frozen chicken and steaks) in their correct state. The initial delivery was no longer frozen and so there were some concerns with consumption. Notwithstanding the busy holiday season, the company was responsive to our concerns and took steps to remedy as soon as practicable. My parents were very pleased with the quality, so overall I would feel comfortable recommending this service. I appreciate the efforts made to deliver the correct product.

What a great concept! No time to shop well givopoly has put together some of the best products from local merchants to give you a vast selection of gifts of all kinds. They even gift wrap it and deliver it locally. I was so impressed with my delivery that I immediately told my friends and family to check them out. Outstanding customer service, products and presentation. They really put their heart into this experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the personal touch from ordering to delivery to follow through. Highly recommended.

Great local vendor with quality baskets and service!

Good selection of quality products from various small businesses. The excellent customer service is icing on the cake. There was a mistake on my delivery date so they went all the way with extra services, repeated email apologies, and a personal phone call to the person receiving the delivery. The apologies were sincere and the compensation given for the mistake was more than was necessary. I order gifts online often for extended family, and must say this company has the best service. I will be a repeat customer and will recommend them to family and friends back in Ottawa.

I live in Seattle and my family lives in Ottawa so it is very difficult to find a way to get a greeting or a gift to them. I've used Givopoly twice to deliver a Birthday treat from Life of Pie to my grandson. He was thrilled by the delivery and everyone enjoyed the baked goodies. Ordering, finalizing and the delivery are simple and smooth processes and this time they sent a notification letting me know the the gift had been successfully delivered. I think that is a great addition to their service.

Ordered a Triple berry pie and a carrot cake from Life of Pie. Givopoly was great to work with! Super easy to order, helpful reviews, and the people at my office loved the treats! They arrived on time and pricing was very reasonable too! Will definitely use Givopoly again.

I ordered a gift for a new baby girl and her mom and the product quality and service provided by Givopoly were both excellent. I ordered some gourmet cookies and a sweet little newborn doll and the recipients were thrilled with their gifts. My sister also placed an order from London, England to have the baby gifts delivered in Ottawa. She, too, was very happy about the selection of gifts, the reasonable prices and the online accessiblity. Both of our gifts were delivered promptly the following day. We would both rate Givopoly a ten out of ten. Kudos to you for an excellent service and I look forward to purchasing gifts from Givopoly in the future.

Received my birthday cupcake delivered to my door by a lovely gentleman with a big smile on his face. When I had emailed the company with an urgent inquiry prior to ordering, they were quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. A++ customer service!

I've used Givopoly twice now. Had nothing but good experiences. Packages arrived on time, intact, ordering was very simple. Good selection of options (it was typically hard to choose just one). My only gripe is that I wish you could see the delivery cost estimate before you start the check-out process.

I live in Vancouver but my family is in Ottawa. I wanted to give my sister a Birthday surprise and ordered the brunch basket from Life of Pi. She came out of a meeting to find freshly baked scones and a quiche at her desk at work. She said it was delicious and fresh... the smell of fresh backed goods filled her entire floor. I was so happy to see I could send a birthday cake ! The perfect gift for when you can't be there to help make the day special. My aunt was just thrilled to receive the cake.
