This is a great store if you're into gaming. Very knowledgeable, fun staff, a great esthetic and vibe. They even have a small arcade and selection of manuals and boxes to cater to us CIB collectors out there. If you're visiting mtl or a resident retro dork like me, a must visit.

Great place! Amiibos are a bit expensive, but the games are in great condition for decent prices.

We were very impressed by this collection of classic video games. My son plays Rock Band all the time and they had a great selection of Rock Band paraphernalia. There was a large selection of used DS games, among others. Highly recommended for (classic) video game fans.

Definitely one of the best retro game stores in the Montreal area! A wide variety to choose from, friendly staff, a very nice store environment displaying their collection, and of course, competitive prices for their retro selection! Overall a fantastic game store!

This is a great store. Good prices, staff is nice. I got Ms. PacMan and Asteroids for my new Atari 2600. Wasn't sure how they would look on a wide screen TV but they're fine. Will be going back.

Lots of rare stuff. Even old school arcade machines like Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 2 available for 1$ a play along with TMNT and WWE pinball machines and a fifth game along with a coin machine in what used to be a (bank?) vault. Bit pricey but I need to insist, they have a lot of cool and rare stuff for any retro gamer. Magazines, walkthroughs, games from prior to the NES to today, amiibos, decorative frames and posters along with spare parts to repair a retro console/controller. Worth a detour.

Came here to get a few PlayStation discs resurfaced because they were no longer readable, even by my computer. The wait was kind of long since this store gets a surprising number of folks coming in to sell their game collections, but I appreciated the attention to detail. After the first machine they tried didn't give optimal results, they took my discs to another, more serious machine and gave my discs back looking pretty shiny. In the end 2 out of my 3 discs work again, so I'm pretty happy with the result.

I got there today for first time and purchase a rare DS game GTA China Town Wars, i wanted this one for a long time.
Not only that is one of the best games in ds library but also is one of the best in GTA saga.

The game and the box are like new and is working well, just fire-up my old DS and i will play it this night.

The two young ladies in store are very helpful and polite, they seem to know gaming world and what they have in store.

I recommend this store to all old school gamers like me who care about story and game design and not about graphics, gamers who enjoy the retro style of DS or GameBoy or still enjoy playing the rich games library of PS3.

I am sure i will return to this store, as i had my eye on another gem that i need to add in my retro collection.

Fairly priced, some Retros are hard to find or very few prints, ...so obviously the price goes up, ... & that is EVERYWHERE, not just at RETROMTL, so stop complaining people, you cant get steak & shrimp for 3$ !!! * P.S. :. It was a good video game store before the move, now it's even better! They have such a selection of games it's insane. Though I make a point to go not too often bc it is pretty far from me. I sometimes order online too, free shipping over 100$. Highly recommend this store :)

It was nice to go I got a ps3 and little big planet from there and I found a cult of the lamb follower plush I didn't buy it 😅 I hope it still there because I would buy it
