West Island Dental Clinic

I have been a patient of the West island dental clinic for about 10 years and the service is always impeccable! Dr. Vo is such a skilled dentist and is so kind!

My daughter who is 9 recently has an appointment to fix 4 cavities. She was really nervous about it.
Dr. Vo was incredible at calming her down and was so patient, talking her through each step during the process. He made it so quick and did such a fantastic job. His assistant Mandeev is also a real gem and elevated the whole experience.

Another time, my son fell at school and hit his two front teeth. I called Dr. Vo and he cleared up his schedule to take him in right away for X-rays. No other dentist has ever treated us as if we are family like Dr. Vo.

The two hygienists, Andrée and Dana are both excellent and make me actually look forward to my cleanings!

The receptionist Kylie is also exceptionally friendly and warm and it's always such a pleasure to book an appointment with her.

If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly highly recommend Dr. Vo and his incredible team!

I had an amazing experience at this clinic! Everyone that works here, reception team, and their hygienist and the dentist were extremely kind and patient with me. They did not rush me at all and answered all my questions. They were all super friendly and generous with their time and they even gave me some toothpaste, floss, tooth brush and lip balm to take home. I had an issue with one of the xrays they had to take and they helped me stay calm and were super understanding. Dr. Zainab (i am not sure if am typing her name right) and the hygeniest Andrée took care of me and I cannot recommend them enough. I will be back, thanks so much for this lovely experience 💛💗💛

I usually see Dr. Vo at his other clinic in Ile-Perrot but he squeezed me in at his clinic in Pointe-Claire one day when I was in an enormous amount of pain. He was able to do a procedure on me same day and I have never been more thankful. The clinic is bright, clean and welcoming. The staff was so kind and understanding of how uncomfortable I was. I have been a longtime patient of Dr. Vo's and would recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, passionate and warm dentist.

Great dental clinic. I had braces in the early 2000s and since then was left with that glue on my front teeth. As soon as Dr. Vo saw it he said that he can remove it. Within minutes I had a brand new smile! :D Couldn't be happier with the service. Thanks!

This West Island Dental Clinic in Pointe-Claire offers a high-quality service in a friendly and caring environment. The clinic has a modern look and appears to be furnished with up-to-date dental equipment. They strive to make my visit comfortable. The entire staff is knowledgeable and always offering helpful tips on how to maintain my teeth. Once, I missed my appointment and within the same week, the administrators were able to accommodate me with another appointment. Also, they work directly with my group insurance company, so I don’t need to get involved in submitting any claims. The whole process is seamless and fast. So far, it’s been a great experience. One last thing, it’s conveniently located off the Trans-Canada highway for easy access.

First session at Dr. Vo’s clinic was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Andrée and Dr. Vo were a pleasure to learn from. Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of being assisted by Dr Vo, his wife Dr Tran, Gail, and Reem.
I would say that everyone is very professional, and very kind and down to earth. They will converse with you, giving you a better experience than "just all business".
Very good work, great prices. Very nice modern clinic. They are very careful with covid, with sealed entrances to each room + hepa air filters in each room.
The first time I went I met hygenist Gail who is a very kind woman, very funny, we had a great time and Dr Vo was very nice, informed and educated me on different things, suggesting only what is required, and very flexible.

The 2nd time was for cavities 2 and some preventative fillings. Reem was very kind and sweet, going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable seated (sciatica) she even brought me a rolled up towel which helped a lot for my lumbar in the chair. Dr Tran was very nice and patient with me, explaining each procedure that was done before beginning. Made sure I was in comfort always and was great at making sure my fillings feel good when bitting down (we had to grind them down a bit).

See you next week for some wisdom teeth to be pulled, the fun starts soon.

Post operation:
Had 3 teeth pulled today, I cannot say anything but good things about everyone at this clinic from the secretaries at the front end, to hygenists, assistants and Dr. Everything went smooth, they made sure I was comfortable in everyway, making sure to extra freeze if needed. The operation was pretty quick too. I was again explained by Dr Vo and Reem, the various procedures and steps to be taken. They went at a pace of my comfort, I started gagging at one point at the begining and they gave me some time to get by it. They are all very kind people and I am very grateful to them all for keeping me comfortable (1st time having teeth pulled).

This is defintely the clinic to visit, conveniant, new (2 yrs old office), flexible, and most importantly very kind.

Loyalty is important and we sometimes forget it goes 2 ways. I have found my new clinic :).

I cannot stress how much of a life saver this clinic was. In these bad times i managed to them and i explained my situation and they agreed to see me (Broken tooth bad pain) other places said to just take tylenol. I went in and it ended up being a broken wisdom tooth which needed to be yanked asap. They were very professional and safe and despite the situation around us very nice and took the time to do the job right. I don't currently have a dentist, but i think after service like this it would be tough to not comeback here for all my dental needs.

Highly recommend. I am 23 years old and TERRIFIED of needles... recently had to get 3 fillings and a gum graft. Reem (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is an angel, she was so comforting, understanding, and so knowledgeable! I was shocked that my previous dentist never told me about the issues I was causing to my teeth and gums by doing something as simple as brushing my teeth. Luckily the staff here quickly did and gave me the tools/procedures/product recommendations to fix it.

been with this clinic since im a child and theres good reason why i never went else where, the people here really care about your teeth and want you to have a healthy mouth. always tell you the truth, good rates too. Dr Michael Vo is a pro, my wisdom teeth had curved roots and he removed them both in under 25 minutes! ill never change dental clinics!

Modern and sophisticated dental clinic! West Island dental is truly amazing, every visit I go to I have nothing but great service and treatments by the doctors and entire staff! All of their Hygienist’s are excellent and very knowledgeable! I would 100% recommend this dental clinic to everyone.This office is truly a first class experience and affordable at the same time!

I've been coming to see this dental team for the better part of a decade(at the old location). The exceptional dentistry and patient care of Dr. Brooks and Dr. Shum are just out of this world. They strive for excellence each and every time. These two amazing dentists have such a rapport with the patients, that they make you feel like you're part of the family..in a safe place. Their quality of work is the BEST and most professional I've ever seen, with meticulous precision and skill, they accomplish miracles. I would fully recommend Dr. Brooks and Dr. Shum to any future patient, as these dentist stand out above ALL the rest. Over 30 years experience really tells you something. They also have 3(original)amazing hygienists on staff as well, I've seen them all and let me tell you, you can't go wrong no matter who you choose to do your cleaning with. Overall, I fully recommend Dr. Brooks or Dr. Shum for all dental procedures. They are always honest and true. That's the best kind of medical care you can get. Hands down. The receptionist were kind and helpful. Knowing I was scared by the tooth extraction Doctor Vo and his dental assistant Emilie asked me questions and told me stories to distract me which helped. Good people, would recommend.
