Such an amazing place. All the volunteers are amazing and know every detail about the personality and history of each animal. They truly care for all of them and make sure the donkeys and mules are well fed, healthy and loved. It's all by donation, so please give what you can.

Sheila, Dave and all of the staff were very welcoming. It’s obvious how much they love and care for these animals. They were very patient on answering all of our questions and helping us understand these often misunderstood creatures. We learned a lot and will definitely be back. So thankful a place like this exists to allow these beautiful
Animals to live out their lives being loved and cared for. ❤🫏

I had such an AMAZING time at Primrose last weekend! It was my first time visiting this wonderful place. What really stood out for me is how happy the animals there are. It was so apparent that this place is owned and run by truly passionate, caring individuals. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner of the farm and was amazed at how many people stopped by to say hello to her and she seemed to know so many people by name. There were multiple people that would stop by the main porch to drop off large bags of cat food to help feed the 20 cats she had living on the property. The cats were so friendly and comfortable around the group of people that were arriving. The donkey's.... I don't even know where to start.. I grew up in a city and have not had much experience around a farm, let alone animals other than cat, dogs, ect. I couldn't believe how calm and friendly the donkey's were!! I was with a group of 4 and we all experience these sweet animals come up and greet us. They loved their ears and head rubbed and were just so comfortable with you being there. I connected immediately with a male donkey named Jack and one other that I sadly can't remember their name but they had really awesome zeebra like strips on the leg hair close the it's hooves. Jack really made an impact on me and made me fall in love with this place. He nuzzled his head right into me as I was rubbing it and that is an experience that I will never forget. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to give these animals a happy life and I can't wait to see you all again soon!!

Very well organized and genuine experience with the animals on site. The donkeys are adorable of course, but there are also friendly cats, a goat and a sheep. The volunteers are all super friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Great for kids and adults alike.

Such a lovely experience. The staff/volunteers are wonderful. So kind, knowledgeable and you can really see their eyes light up when they speak of these beautiful donkeys. We were served tea and they had desserts.
I wish it was closer so I could go more often but we are definitely going again soon.

Love this place and the people. Took my 93 year old mother and she struck great conversations with the donkeys that appeared to gravitate to her. What they are doing for these animals is inspirational and I'm happy to be able to support them.

I cannot recommend this place enough. My family and I went for the afternoon and couldn’t have had a better time. The volunteers were welcoming, patient and knowledgeable telling us about the history of the space and about the different animals and their stories and personalities. Lots of cats to cuddle and a lot of the donkeys enjoy a good scratch.
Can’t say enough good things 11/10

What a great place!!! Run on volunteers. Individual attention and they tell you all about the animals. Animals treated and kept so well!! Lots of cats as well. I was so impressed with the health of the cats sometimes you see barn cats and they have goopy eyes etc but not here they had clear eyes and shinny coats. Volunteers were happy to be there and the donkeys were a delight.

A fun, informative, and great place to see some beautiful donkeys. Lynn and Jim were extremely kind enough to accommodate our group even though we showed up at 3pm. They introduced us to some awesome donkeys, kittens, sheep and goat.
Next time we are definitely booking a tour.
