Transcanada Drain

This past October, I had to get my main pipe line replaced and a back water valve installed in my basement which meant a huge excavation in my front yard.

I called Transcanada Drain and was impressed with David's fast and professional response. He provided me with a detailed written estimate and explained to me exactly what costs my home insurance would be covering.

David and his crew showed up on time and amazingly got all the repair work done that same day. Rather than breaking apart my porch steps in order to excavate under it, his tractor driver was able to salvage those steps by carefully lifting them, setting them aside and then slowly placing them back where they belonged after the repair work was completed. They didn't have to do that, it wasn't discussed and I didn't ask them to but they chose to do it for me regardless.

In addition, David also took the time to follow-up with the ajuster and appraiser handling my insurance claim in order to facilitate a smooth payback from my insurance company.

Had an emergency main drain blockage on a Sunday evening. Called at least 8 drain/plumbing companies. Nobody wanted to come, returned my call or even answered the phone when they say 24/7 service. David answered the call and personally came to to the repair. He was fair and honest and timely. Pricing was fair considering the day and the hour. Back in operation within 1.5 hours and the expert advice for remediation was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

David is definitely a saver!
We had a blocked pipped, and all the water in the house was flooding. We called a company called Monsieur Drain and after doing their inspection, and passing the camera on two different times, they were insisting that the pipe leading to the sewers is broken and that it needs excavation to have it repaired along that other pipes might be damaged In the house which would need demolition of the floor. They wanted to charge us 15K! .Given that they claimed that the pipe was broken, and that it was close to the cities’ side, we still had to do it and pay it since the city won’t take responsibility. At this point they were stressing us on the urgency to have it repaired, and this is where I read about transcanada drain, and decided to call them. David came and In no time. He looked at me and told me that this is the job of the city, and that we shouldn’t pay a cent for this. He didn’t even need to do his own inspection after seeing and calculating the distance the correct way, something the other company was not able to do. David was super helpful and it was clear that he wasn’t here for the money but to save us from having to pay such an amount. It’s rare to see companies who would want to save a customer from paying such amounts. We called the city and it was actually true, after they inspected they confirmed that it was from their side, and unblocked the pipes, in addition that the pipe was not even broken!
