I recently had a bad experience with my previous dentist. Someone in the family recommended Luminous Dental highly so I decided to visit them even I had to drive more than an hour to get there. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. Dr. Berlin listened to my concerns and took the time to explain every step of the process, which really put me at ease. Most importantly my tooth issues have finally been resolved. I would highly recommend Dr. Berlin to anyone.

Everyone is so kind and friendly! The technician was very gentle taking my molds and the hygienist was very thorough and spotted a loose cap! I love Dr. Chu’s team….the best dentist experience in my life! And I’m 74 years old so that says a lot!

Staff - professional, engaging & efficient. Appointments - easy to book, appts on time (give or take 5 min.). Parking - not an issue. Other transportation - bus stops close by & 15 to 20 walk from skytrain stations.
Have been a client for decades and have never had an issue and staff always professional, cheerful, engaging & efficient.

I see Dr. Berlin and she has always been professional and knowledgeable.

I always feel that I am well taken care of and given clear information about any procedures that need to be performed. I have been seeing Dr. Chu for more than 40 years and all my kids and now grandkids see him. From the youngest to the oldest in our family highly recommend this office.

I am baffled by some of the low ratings of Dr. Gavin Chu. I can't believe we are talking about the same dentist. I have been going to Dr. Chu's office for over 20 years. Dr. Chu and his team are the outmost professional, caring, funny (especially Dr. Chu), and they make the whole experience a little easier on me who hates having dental work done. I would (and have to many friends/family) highly recommend Dr. Chu and his team!

Omg Mary B not sure how you can rate him a one star! You obviously have had a different experience than me!! I've been going to Dr Chu's office for years now. I used to be terrified of the dentist, I still don't like going but I have full confidence in Dr. Chu and his staff. They are always friendly, competent and help make me feel relaxed. I have had various work done, and have always been more than happy with the work performed. I had my front teeth capped a while back and have had so many compliments on his work and people asking for referrals.

Went for a standard check up, Dr Chu was very friendly and made the whole experience super comfortable. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone.
