Having grown up when Lafarge Lake was little more than a former gravel pit filled with water, I can't help but be impressed by the fantastic job the City has done with this park. Loads of amenities and plenty of room to wander, play, explore, and relax. Always a lovely visit!

A great big park for everyone. Lots of sport fields, playground, large big lawn, a big lake.
It's very popular for the lafarge Lake lights Festival in Christmas.
It also holds a lot of summer events too. The big stage by the lake is good for concerts and shows.
The flat trail around the lake is good for a walk. Lots of parking is good for all events. But it will be not enough washroom when the events take place, more washrooms are really important too.
There are also with a electrical scooter station in the park. It has free wifi.

Visiting this park was a highlight of our trip to the Vancouver area from Florida! The gardens, water, and vegan ice cream are everything you’d want in a beautiful and relaxing park!

Our family's one of the most favorite places for walk and outdoor play. I had taken my younger daughter there, when she was younger to play at the playground or in the spray park, now I take my grandchildren there. We enjoy each year the Christmas Decoration. Today, we walked in the beautiful garden, which had never been that beautiful before.

Lots of playing fields for all sorts of sports activities. Plus one main Stadium as well. Every time I'm walking around the area as I live very close by. The entire area is always clean and well kept up.

There are washrooms around and a couple concessions stands close by also, one being right at the main Stadium. Also there are change rooms available.

Only thing I miss is walking over on Friday Evenings to watch the local High School Football 🏈 Games. Really wish they would have the games back there.

An extraordinary and amazing park in downtown of Coquitlam.

This park is really enjoyable, with many different things and spots to visit. There are soccer fields, basketball, volleyball, water park, tennis court, baseball field, a huge and official running field, so many things.

Large parking lot, public washrooms, some places to eat and do small snacks, spaces for a BBQ.

For who likes run or walking, there are a lot of places to do around the park.

I really recommend this place.

During the Christmas season, various artistic colored lights adorn the lakeside, creating a vibrant and diverse world of illuminated decorations. As night falls, it attracts adults and children from different cities who enthusiastically explore this dazzling display of lights, which is free to visit. Whether by SkyTrain, bus, or self-driving, convenient transportation options make it easily accessible. Each year, they add interesting lights like lite brite and colorful fireworks, making it a must-visit destination during Christmas.

Lucky to have this gorgeous park nearby. Walking around the Lake, lots of green space, sports fields provide a relaxing atmosphere. Would love to see a lot more benches to sit though, especially under trees. Unfortunately, there are very few and are exposed to sun and rain..

Sprawling park near Coquitlam Center and skytrain terminus. I especially enjoy strolling around Lafarge Lake which is an easy half hour walk. Lots of parking.
This December Coquitlam has outdone itself with the Lights at Lafarge. The lake is adorned with lights all the way around and it's simply incredible. And it's all free!

Christmas lights in the park are beautiful and will last until March. Walking around the lake will take you about 20-30 minutes if you don’t walk too fast.

Definitely one of our favourite parks. We love walking around the lake, seeing the ducks and adorable dogs and lovely families together. The concession prices are on the higher side but it’s great that there is not often a wait. 🥰 🐶 🦆

So many ways to utilize this park. Skate park, beach volleyball courts, playgrounds, waterpark, outdoor excersise equipment, the fields are well maintained for sports & events. There's so much to keep you moving. Love the stage and surrounding landscape too. Great spot to take lunch and enjoy live music/zumba classes or whatever is going on that day. The lake is picturesque and a great spot to walk the dog, even at night. Well lit and maintained. Inspiration garden is a highlight. Filled with creative and beautifully cultivated gardens. 💯

Huge park with amphitheater, astroturfed soccer and many softball fields, beach volleyball courts with nets already setup, man-made lake, stadium with bleachers, running track, children’s playground and water park, ping pong tables galore! Apparently the lake is stocked with trout and saw a few people fishing in the designated zone.

The concession [open this summer, Not pictured] is where you can get food and drinks! I recommend getting a mixed blue raspberry and cherry slush on a hot summer day 😎🌞

Highly HIGHLY recommend that yoy visit their Christmas light festival. It is not only spectacular, but extremely special because it has been done only through the use local donations. And it's free to see.
The loop around the lake takes roughly 30-40 minutes including time to take photos.
Make sure to do a second loop, with your phone put away so you can enjoy the lights. My photos do not do enough justice. Visit in person

I've never been to this park before but it's got lots of different areas skateboarding, basketball, beach volleyball, music amphitheater, and more.

They do need more staff/ options at the ice cream stand so the line is not as long. They may want to consider having a few portable carts in front so that you could do three lines.

It was the site for the Caribbean Days Festival for the first time. It's a great location for this. I look forward to next year. 👍🏾👍🏾😁

Wonderful park to walk, jog, and play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, baseball/softball, cricket, volleyball, and there is even a skatepark, a bike park, and a playground. There is plenty of parking and once you do park, it’s easy to walk around. This is really friendly and accessible space that the city of Coquitlam has design for everyone to get out and enjoy nature.
