CGS Dentistry

I have been going to CGS for quite a number of years now as I have been happy with their work. Prior to CGS, I've changed my dental offices several times and have not stayed at any place for more than a couple of years mainly due to their poor services and tendency to oversell unnecessary dental works.

CGS has been great and I find their staff to be exceptionally friendly. Dental hygienists do amazing work and the dentists are very knowledgeable. Shout out to Sanaz for an amazing work she did. Her work is just top-notch and you can tell she is very invested in her work to make sure you are comfortable.

Before I started going to CGS, my dental experiences were awful… so much so, it was almost 10 years between visits. With the recommendation from a coworker, I reluctantly went. To my surprise, it was the most pleasant experience I ever had going to the dentist. The front office staff are AMAZING and the hygienists are super gentle and make the cleaning experience enjoyable. I left feeling super satisfied and didn’t feel any pain or discomfort…. Even when I had to get any fillings, Dr. Phan was awesome. I’m now doing an Invisalign treatment and am 6 months in… Darlene to me is a god send in bringing back my teeth to form and the confident smile I’ve been dying to have… thanks to everyone at CGS Coquitlam for making my dentist trips a pleasure!

Peter was very gentle with my anxious 12yr old. It was helpful to have the dentist and hygienist give my daughter oral hygiene instruction (she is currently in braces) as she is not always willing to take advice from me.

New patient after being with my dentist in Burnaby since 1994. My friend Jon recommended this dentist. Three visits so far and happy with the results.

Had a small issue with food getting caught between two teeth which was annoying me. They fixed it up at the time of my cleaning saving me from having to come back for another appointment.

My Hygienist, Peter, is very nice and remembered some of my hobby’s shared during my initial visit last fall.

All staff and extremely friendly and truly care about making their patients experiences as positive as possible. They are knowledgeable and take whatever time you need to answer any questions you may have. Their equipment is modern and their office is spotless.

I had a great experience with Peter the hygienist, he is very careful to clean my teeth because I have sensitive teeth, he prepared the anti sensitive jel on my teeth so I won’t feel any uncomfortable. And he always has a clear communication with me and tell me what he is going to do. This makes my dentist experience more relaxing than before. I like doctor Fanh as well, he always gave me good suggestions on how to maintain my teeth healthy. Thank you all for taking care of me. I really appreciate.

The experience was great. Everyone was so friendly and made my 5 year old so comfortable. Highly recommend :)

I had my first cleaning yesterday and I was shocked when I saw my teeth! Wow, the best cleaning around here. Also I had some fillings done and I would say that they did a really good job, thank you so much.

Dr. Phan is a phonomenal dentist. He is caring, attentive, compassionate, and definitely knows how to listen to the concerns of patients. He is the 4th dentist Ive had in the past 26 yrs of living in Coquitlam, so far, he is the best.

The most gratifying experience I have ever had at a dental practice has been at CGS. Their staff is composed of highly proficient and professional individuals, and I strongly endorse their services. They consistently deliver outstanding, superior-quality experiences. Thank you.

Friendly, professional and approachable staff. The entire clinic is very clean even to the washroom. My teeth cleaning felt very thorough. Both the dentist and hygienist wanted to ensure all of my concerns were addressed. I didn't feel like extra services were pushed on me. Overall a really pleasant experience, I'm definitely going to keep coming back and highly recommended it to my partner already.

Update - May 2024

We're running out of adjectives haha. That said, we can not 'not' comment on our most recent trip to CGS. Once again we have been treated with the upmost grace, kindness, patience and care. We are not big spenders as we are on a fixed income, yet we are received and cared for every time as if we pulled up in a limo ready for a dozen gold teeth. Dr. Phan - Thank you for your excellent care - you're great smile and positive chair side manner. Also to your awesome assistant (Apologies - we've forgotten too many names) and the professionals at the front - you are so consistently kind and welcoming (and calming I might add). Cheers to everyone at CGS - A safe, awesome place to gain a healthy smile :O)

These guys are really great I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Great experience for my 6 year old! Chrissy the dental assistant was great with her and showed her everything she was doing. The dentist was great and attentive. We will definitely be making this our regular dental office.

Very attentive and caring staff. Dr. Park is detailed, informative, and just a sweet and kind person. Most importantly, when you're dealing with tooth pain (this pain inside your head), it's great when the experts you deal with are good people also. A lot of people feel nervous going to the dentist. The environment and people at CGS helps ease those nerves and does a great job with my teeth as well. I moved to a different dentist for logistical reasons but came back as soon as I could.

I am so grateful to CGS clinic, especially Darlene, Cat and Dr. Phan for helping me with my wisdom tooth extraction today. The team is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to make sure their patients are cared for. I am so impressed with their customer service, as they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I will be back here for my check ups and regular cleanings! Thank you, again!
