Oliveira Funeral Home

On April 17th 2024 we held a funeral service for my mother. This event, as can be expected, is an emotional and trying time in one’s life.

Oliveira Funeral Home assisted in laying my mother to rest. They were accommodating and provided everything required and more. Maria’s kindness and support throughout was outstanding and so appreciated.

My husband and I wish to thank Tony and Maria for their caring, compassionate and professional manner that resulted in beautiful, organized and worry free service from beginning to end including flowers, church and final resting place.

Oliveira Funeral Services provided my family with empathy and compassion when our beloved Avo passed away. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond, yet retain a superb sense of professionalism, was wonderful and needed during our time of loss. We thank Oliveira Funeral Services for all the hard work and care. I wish them the very best and hope people use their services in the future.

Our family will forever be indebted to OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME. My how they (especially Athena) took care of us in such a stressful time. They lifted all the burden from us in their very professional and truly caring ways. Oliveira did everything that was needed to done so my Mother had a wonderful Funeral. I'd like to thank both the owner Antony and Athena who helped my family with my mam's funeral. Tried to contact quite some funeral homes around tri-cities and I am glad to stay with Oliveira. The room holds well for all the 90+ guests and everything I went through with Oliveria is professionally taken cared and thoughtful.

All the options Oliveria supplies are easy to follow and honestly described. My family decided to go with the full funeral service. But they do also have simple alternatives for meet different needs. Nothing is pressured and all the questions and queries are answered and replied in time.

*updated review 2024*: sadly, my mom passed and we leaned upon Oliveira Funeral Home. Tony and Maria, were great as well as Athena on her last day. Communication was easy to follow and we were touched by close attention to detail - at the mass as well as for the cemetery.

My review in 2021: While it is nearly ten years since the passing of my father, I remember fondly Tony and Oliveria Funeral Home exceptionally serving our family during a difficult time.

Oliveira Funeral Home was especially helpful and kind while we were going through this painful time. Tony, Maria and son were very accommodating, showed lots of compassion through the most difficult days of our lives. Knowing my mom was in their caring hands gave us great comfort. My best friend lost her 16 year old daughter and chose Oliveira Funeral Home. I was closely involved with the process and in my opinion it went very smooth. The staff was very accommodating, kind and compassionate. The funeral itself was very well organized and the staff was very patient and helpful.
The staff did not try and upsell and capitalize on grief to make additional sales (which other funeral homes we interviewed tried to do). Instead the employees made suggestions on how to save money.
Maria was very flexible and made arrangements to allow the family access on a day they are normally closed. I was overall very happy with the professionalism, kindness, flexibility and accommodation. My best friend and I will not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone I know needing to go through this process as they really made it easier.

Recently my grandfather passed away, after speaking to numerous funeral homes we decided to go with Oliveira since they had done muslim funerals in the past. We also found them not pushy which made our decision easier. Maria coordinated with the spiritual cleric and the mosque for washing the body and transporting to the cemetery. They were very supportive from the start to end and communicating with them was great.

We contacted Oliveira Funeral Home a little over a year ago when we suddenly lost our daughter in law. Tony came to our home and took care of all the funeral arrangements. Our mum passesd away Feb 1, 2021and we did not hesitate to contact him.He is kind and compassionate.
Their customer service is excellent. They attend to all the tiniest of details . All requests are taken care of. Although they are closed on Sunday he did us a big favor by having the viewing on Sunday keeping covid restrictions in place. For that we are truly grateful.
We would recommend him anytime in your hour of grief.

Tony Oliveira assisted us through this difficult time after our mum passed. His empathy, courtesy, and timeliness in answering all of our queries, made this process so smooth and took all of the pressure off us. I would recommend this funeral service to anyone who need it.
