BC Perio: Dr. Peter Munns

Dr Rana Tarzemany and her assistant were great... they made everything easy and calming for me as I’m a fairly nervous person when it comes to procedures. Professional and lovely people! 10/10 would recommend

I had a very detailed exam from Dr. Tarzemany. Everything was explained in a very easy to understand way. I appreciate how kind the dental assistant was too.

I called to make an appointment for a quote for dental implants for my son. I advised them over the phone that I had to take care of this for him as he was not in the right mental state of mind to do this. They did not advise me there would be any cost associated with this first visit. When we arrived at BC Perio in Coquitlam I was not allowed to go in with my son due to the current covid-19 rules. Later that day when we got back home my son advised me they had charged him $139 for x-rays. I called BC Perio and requested that this charge be refunded to my son because not only was I not made aware of this charge when I called to make the appointment, there is no mention of this charge on their website. They refused to refund the money because "we told your son there was a charge when we took him in to examine him and he agreed". They knowingly took advantage of my son, as I had explained everything to them when I made the appointment. Greedy practice. Go elsewhere, there's lots of choices.
