Dental hygienist was amazing. Friendly and didn’t poke my gums to make them sore. Dentist was efficient - came and examined my teeth and made his recommendations.
Easy!

Went in for a routine cleanup and checkup and I leave impressed, healthy and clean. So impressed in fact I am taking time out to write a review. Dr Sun and the hygienists were all very professional and courteous. Discovered some dental issues that previous dentists missed and they made sure I am shown the evidence of the discovery so I am informed every step along the way. I've been procrastinating getting my wisdom tooth removed for over 10...12 years. Haven't really found a dental clinic that I trusted enough, but today I think I have. Will update review again once wisdom tooth extraction is done.

Update: the operation was successful! Dr. Sun walked me through the risks and benefits of the procedure before going forward and today she successfully resolved a 10+ years problem for me! They were very gentle throughout the procedure and made sure im comfy throughout the 2 hour procedure. I was pretty nervous at first, we talking 140/98 at 99bpm before the surgery lol, but once it started going, it's like im in a spa but dental, liken dental spa, finishing off the surgery at 120/80, 62bpm. She even offered help via text in case I have any questions during post-op recovery! AND I got to bring my teeth home lol. All in all 10/10. Do recommend!

I’m writing this to thank Dr. Duffy and his assistant Rochelle, for their expert treatment in removing my wisdom teeth. I feel much better not only in my jaw, but also in my ears (lowered tinnitus). So, I’m doubly thankful for the work you did.

I have had an excellent experience with the clinic. My most recent visit was a deep cleaning session with Mitchell. The session had to be an uncomfortable one because of the terrible condition of my gums but Mitchell was so careful and thorough with her approach. She made sure to make it as comfortable for me as possible and did a great job.

I really want to thank the amazing receptionists and Paul, my hygienist, for making my first time back to the dentist very comforting and easy. Dentist offices often can be scary and intimidating places but SFU dental deserves these 5 stars and then some. They also expanded into the space beside them so they are clearly very busy with patients which is always nice to see! If you park underground they will also provide you reimbursement of an hour parking (paid parking) so make sure to bring your slip to reception. The hygienists are very gentle and kind and don’t shame you into not having unkept teeth health or anything like that. Paul let me know everything he was doing and I felt very informed on the process. There are TV screens on the ceiling if you choose to watch, but I brought headphones and asked if I could listen to music during the cleaning to help my nerves. Thank you all again!

Excellent service! First time with Dr. Marta, and she very gently did my dental scans for my night guard. I usually get my teeth checked by Dr. Benny Yee and he has the most gentle hands. Thank you for making my dental visit a happy one 😍

It’s a five stars dental office from doctors to staff. Everyone is very friendly and professional. I seriously have never felt so relaxed when I visited my dentist. Even the cleaning was fast and not painful. They treated me as the only patient in the office.

Doctor Laurie Chang was really kind and very helpful. I am so glad to meet her.

I have to give them a great score. I am terrified of the Dentist, no matter what dentist even if its the most friendly. Everyone is very nice, from the receptionist to the plans that they allow you to pay, if you don't have tons of money (you know because going to the dentist is expensive no matter what) to being very welcoming and friendly. I usually forget to ask questions, but they got you. Just asked them, they will help you.

All employees are very patient and polite, especially the receptionist sitting at the leftmost desk when facing the reception (a very cute girl with wide eyes). She explained terms to me very patiently.

Paul did a great job with cleaning, explain everything well and gentle. The filling by Dr Yee was fine too but at times a bit rough handling trying to work quickly.

This was my very first visit and I am satisfied and impressed. Been living here up on the mountain but never really pay attention to this dental centre. Noticed the signage one day and decided to make an appointment for overdue check-up. I am glad I did. Very nice facility and staff. Dr. Yee and Paul (dental hygienist) both were SUPERB! THANKS.
