Safeway Austin Heights

Beautiful new store in the neighbourhood 🏬 right in between the soon to be built condo towers. Has a great selection, is clean and bright, and a Starbucks inside, what more do you need? I’m a happy camper. Parking available in the back of the store upstairs via Ridgeway or in the front via Austin on the ground level. A bit pricier than others locally but understandably they have to make up for the new build I suppose.

Amazingly helpful staff they are family we love & Trust. Its always delightful delicious & easy to access wonderful food for the favourable recipes love the scene cards as well cannot wait to see a movie or as many as we earn love all of you ThAnnk ALLLLLL of you very much《☆♤♡◇♧☆》 🎄☃🎉🧨♥♠ MAJOR GENERAL RAISINSHELLS OUT:)

I was worked in safeway its best but specially mic store manager he is so helpful and I never feel scared in this store. He understood problems . Best 👌 100 out 100experine of work.

I recently discovered this Safeway store about six months ago
and I can't say enough good things about it. There seems to always
be enough cashiers. The self checkouts always work and there
is always an attendant there to help. I used to go to Burquitlam
but I got so discouraged by the long line ups and self checkouts
always breaking down.

This safeway was recently rebuilt, we come here all the time, i love it, it's not always packed even on weekends, always lots of parking, when u park on the roof the view before u enter the store is amazing💯 it's expensive but whatever, best Safeway location I've ever shopped at. Has a public washroom thats open by the Pharmacy.

SAFEWAY AUSTIN HEIGHTS This location is easily accessible from above Austin from the Blue Mountain park area off ridgeway or if you are coming from the North road, the Mariner or Maillardville areas via Austin avenue...There is an abundance of parking in the underground parkade or up, where I prefer, on the roof top parkade...
I enjoy several aspects of this particular store. I regularly use the pharmacy as Andy and his staff are excellent in terms of their knowledge and help with issues. The meat department is far better than some competitors... I like the deli, the bakery, the produce department and have found myself using the floral department more and more frequently for spur of the moment occasions...This time, I was picking up a lovely pale green/ pale pink coloured Hydrangea and a Papyrus card as an Easter gift for my friend Anne...A little bit of colour on the dining room table never hurts, particularly when the days have been as grey as they have been as of late.
PS if you happen to be in the area during the morning sunrise time of day, the aforementioned rooftop parkade provides the most amazing vantage point to see a sunrise unfold in front of you with a sprawling 180’ view of Maillardville down to the Fraser river, depending on the sky and weather conditions for the day...I’ll be coming back here to this location, that’s for sure...

Great option. Open early and the sandwiches are great here. That plus the usual groceries that you can buy

Friendly staff. Beautiful bakery. Overall a nice store with the boutique feel to it.

I always love looking and eating the ready to eat food the most and on Valentines Day me and my sister went all out and got Valentine's Day themed specials. Cheesecake, donuts, etc. Dream come true. We dined in their courteous little food court/lounge. We had walked a lot earlier so it was nice to sit back and relax. So grateful. xx

I love doing my groceries in here. Staff are very helpful and courteous. I always order chicken dinner and they make the mojos and onion rings for me if they do not have enough on the warm food area. The ladies in the warm food area are amazing. Always appreciate the effort and kindness of the staff.
Good quality food if not the best.

Once in awhile, there is an unfavourable cashier, other than that, I love Safeway

This Safeway is amazing, it is so bright, organized and clean. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. This store is always freshly stocked, the produce looks amazing as well does the meat and bakery departments There is parking on the upper level as well as behind the store on the Lane way, except if you park on the lane way you are going to have to walk up the ramp for the upper parking to enter the store. I would recommend parking in the upper lot for convenience.

Staffs are friendly, produces are fresh. Store is clean

Excellent customer service! A very nice worker helped me find where the cupcakes are, and he asked and checked up on me and which cupcakes to choose. He also made some recommendations on which cupcakes to buy & go for!

Hopefully staff are treated well, but as far as the store? Freaking fabulous!

No secret Safeway is more expensive than the average grocery store in the area, but they do have some things I wouldn't trade the prices for.

-Staff who you can find, and know the answers to your question.
-Tills open with minimal, or no lines! Like all day every day, there's customers, but it's never crowded,. The parking lot is never packed...
-A deli that will make you amazing sandwiches, or any other item you think a deli MIGHT have (seriously, the deli is like 20% of the store, has hot and cold!)
-late business hours. Sadly the deli (sandwich and hot case) does often close 20 minutes before I get there. It's either a coincidence, or a plot to keep me hangry.

Great store, well stocked clean and friendly staff. They could bring in more stuff at request of customer but that's ok. 5 stars
