I’ve been at their original location in Gastown and the other one in Coquitlam. And now I came back again to get some more McKay tartan I had ordered up to do a project on our green BMW we dubbed Emma. I think once we have the Tartan installed she’ll be so chuffed from headliner to door cards. I know Mr and I certainly will. Hoping the kids will like it too. And every time we’ll get into the car, it’ll be a reminder of the highlands and driving around Stirling on a nice day. A nice tribute we think. Note the sample I originally looked at VS the one we ended up ordering on the website and receiving is different, but it’ll do. There were various patterns of the tartan depending on modern and older variants, but this will go well with the car.

came from the island to do a fitting here for my wedding, super professional, made sure I was comfortable all the way through. very knowledgeable and a straight shooter. very accommodating to what I needed for my day. 100% recommend tartan town. I'll be back agian for sure!

Update May 2022: I'm now a married man & I can't begin to thank Tartantown for everything they did for me in getting my special Nova Scotia tartan as well as making sure my crew of boys were suitably dressed at my side. Everyone looked amazing in their colours and I honestly couldn't see my wedding looking any other way. Your service has been amazing this entire time but it is truly how friendly you all are that made it more getting our stuff from you.

Can't begin to state how happy we are with tartantown and the help they've provided in making sure I got my tartan for our wedding next spring. Can't wait to go back for the proper fitting in the new year

Tartan town is absolutely amazing. I’ve ordered from them twice now and both times I had a positive experience. I recently ordered 2 scarves to use at my wedding and I reached out to make sure it would be here in time and they said it wouldn’t arrive in time for it. (My fault for always procrastinating everything🫣) But they luckily reached out and gave me similar options that would be able to ship in time. They were quick to respond and quick to help me out. Great customer service! Hired complete kilt attire for my husband for a wedding. Ordered from the UK, picked up on agreed date, everything was prepared and fitted perfectly. Got exactly what we asked for. Returned a couple of days after. Really pleased with service.

Their products are high quality and well maintained. I rented a kilt, sporran, Brogues, socks and garters. I rented from them for my wedding. This couldn’t not have been a better experience. The stress level was zero and they helped me out with everything I needed. They really made it a pleasure. I’m kind of disappointed because l have no idea when I’ll get a chance to wear a Tartan next. Suits suck and Tartans are awesome, definitely give these guys a call!!

All in all, we had a great experience working with Tartantown! My husband purchased his kilt at Tartantown for our wedding in October, and my father and our groomsmen used their rental services for their kilts. The staff at Tartantown were very friendly and easy to work with, and remembered our wedding party and our needs when communicating with the men individually. Tartantown was able to accommodate in-person fittings and also take measurements via email for some of our wedding party members who lived in a different province. They were very knowledgeable about the process of purchasing a kilt and the rental process, and advised my husband accordingly on the timelines for purchases and rentals based on when our wedding would be, which was much appreciated! Everyone looked great in their kilts and we would highly recommend Tartantown and their staff if ever in need of an authentic Scottish kilt / outfit for your wedding or event! Thank you, Tartantown!

Terry and the staff here are excellent! I have been here multiple times and recently used them to have a new kilt made and accessories bought for my wedding. They are fully stocked and will order anything you need as well. I highly recommend them for all your tartan and Celtic needs!

I bought two kilts from Terry at Tartantown and his customer service was first rate. There was a delay in Scotland (the kilt maker had to order new fabric) and Terry kept me informed and let me know the minute my kilts arrived. The kilts are beautiful as are the sporrans etc. I highly recommend this business and will patronize it again.

This has to be Canada's best bagpipe shop, run and staffed by truly world-class pipers. The depth of expertise is incredible. Terry Lee spent a lot of time ensuring my new pipes (Naill) were right for me and helping me with the set-up. I have bought supplies online from Tartantown on many occasions and will continue to do so. Frankly, they have it all - the best products, excellent customer service, and tremendous knowledge.

I purchased my first set of synthetic drone reeds from Tartantown in 1990. My most recent order just arrived. I ordered a number of items, including more fragile reeds. Everything arrived well packed and in perfect condition. These are the experts when it comes to all things pipes and drums, dancing, and highland apparel.

Terry and the Tartantown team went above and beyond for my kilt order- he spent all the time I needed to ensure that I got the kilt outfitted to my specifications, and that I got the accessories that I needed. He even helped me find a piper for my wedding!

Tartantown is fantastic! They are so helpful and knowledgeable. My son bought his bagpipes and bagpipe case here as well as Ghillie brogues and other accessories. We've rented Highland dress from them several times and it's always been exceptional service and top quality dress (they even helped us find a great vendor in another province when our son had to pipe at a funeral back east!). I chair the Support Committee for the Seaforth Highlander Army Cadets in Langley and Tartantown staff have helped us to procure Highland dress items we couldn't otherwise source. Every time I'm in the shop I enjoy browsing, too. Their assortment of gifts and other Scottish items is wonderfully tempting. We highly recommend Tartantown!

We have come to rely on the quality products and excellent customer services at Tartantown. I have ordered tartan for kilts, velvet/button/braid for dance vests, patterns, dance shoes, and other accessories over the past few years, and always have had good experiences.

Truly a pleasant experience. Very easy to contact and very quick replies. My items arrived quickly and were exactly what I wanted. It can be hard to find bagpiping stuff, but I assure you this is the place to get it from. I will FOR SURE be ordering more from them. They really know there stuff and don’t sell garbage.
