Awesome sense of community to be a part of. Admittingly, joining a new gym is always a little intimidating but the coaches and athletes have created a very welcoming atmosphere to be a part of. Being new, people have gone out of there way to welcome me and make me feel comfortable. I'm so happy to be a part of the gym.

I’ve been into CrossFit for almost 9 years now and enjoy dropping in at various boxes whenever I’m traveling and I rarely come across a community like this! Immediately I was greeted by and felt welcomed by members who were of course complete strangers to me. Nice. The coaches were top notch, super knowledgeable send kind and the facilities are super clean and high quality! Will be coming back every time I’m in maple ridge now! Highly recommend.

Great place to workout. Classes are all coached by professional coaches. Workouts are easily modified to suit your fitness level. Great atmosphere to keep you motivated and push harder.

Awesome staff, awesome crossfit gym and great experience with personal training. Highly recommended this place for working out, getting in shape and meeting like-minded people. They also have a fantastic nutritional coaching program for weight-loss... been with them since June 2021 and lost 50lbs in 4 months!!

Fantastic coaches, friendly members. I am new to crossfit and a guest here for two workouts. The coaches and other members were great to help and encourage me. Thank you! The gym is clean, well organized and equipment is in great shape. Highly recommend it here

Its the place to start your fitness journey, or to take it to the next step. Great facilities and equipment. Friendly coaches who know what they are doing. Nutrition advice if you'd like it. The programming is varied but consistent, so you can track your progress but its never boring. Classes are 1 hour. Usual programming includes stretching and warm-up, time scheduled for varied weightlifting and other movement progressions, and a workout of the day. The coaches are always ready to provide scaling options for any skill and fitness level. The coaches host several extra open gym times throughout the week. You can track your progress on the phone app and web page, so there is no need for a paperback journal. And there is a kids room for your ankle biters while you lift something heavy.

58 yr old male office middle manager joined early December 2017 attending 5:00 AM class 5 days a week. NOT a morning person so just getting to class is a challenge for me. Excellent coaches and class members have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. Coach leads classes where participants perform the same general exercises scaled for strength and ability. Coaches stress proper body mechanics before increasing weights to ensure you're not going to injure yourself. Super impressed with this place, and suprised to find classes have so many female athletes. All of whom can kick my ass! :^) Looking forward to seeing what I am capable of a year from now. Very highly recommended. Be prepared to work hard and listen to coaches advice.

I enjoy training with this group. Positive minded, driven and fun. Great way to improve your fitness and quality of life. Welcoming to everyone no matter where your starting fitness level is. All the coaches are passionate and knowledgeable and Easy to approach with any questions.

I have never had such a fun time working out! The coaches are encouraging and help a ton with scaling so any skill level can enjoy. I would 100% recommend CrossFit steps to anyone looking for a new fitness routine!

At Crossfit Steps, the goal that you set will be accomplished with how much work that you put in. Although your goal may be hard, the coaches Ron, Tash, and Erick make it easier, by guiding you in the correct direction. The facility is very clean, organized, and all equipment is new. It has a good amount of space to workout. I've been here for 10 months and never ran into a problem! All that is great but, the most important part of Crossfit is the community, ask anyone that does it, and they'll tell you the same! Everyone is very welcoming and there for the same reason as you; I have never feel out of place. My goal started here at 235lbs and continues to be healthy at 170, I lost 65lbs. Your goal could start here too.

Highly recommend this gym, staying committed to a gym has been the hardest challenge for me all my life...until now. There isn't many gyms that work you physically and mentally. Ron and Tash are two amazing coaches that will be your number one supporters. Crossfit steps feels like home from the first day you walk in- everyone welcomes you and cheers you on!

I was out-of-towner looking for a box to do a drop-in. I chose to drop in at Crossfit Steps. Nice facility, welcoming environment and community, and great programming. I'm glad I chose this gym. I will definitely come straight here then next time I'm in town.

I am so happy I tried a complementary class at CrossFit Steps! It was a brutal workout but I was so excited to come back for more. That was almost a year ago and I still love it! I have seen so many changes both physically and mentally. I could not ask for better coaches. Thank you Ron and Tash!! I also cannot say enough about the other members! Everyone is so encouraging and I look forward to seeing them every day...I am looking forward to another year. If you are at all curious to try CrossFit, I definitely recommend you come to CrossFit Steps!

I tried everything to loose weight and keep fit... EVERYTHING, home videos, diet pills, fasts and fad diets, and countless gym, yoga, and other class memberships. Nothing worked until I joined Crossfit Steps! The work out is intense, some days you want to quit and go home, or stay at home in bed, but the hard work really payed off in quick results! The intense workout is balanced by an over whelming sense of community, this is what truly keeps me going 4 days a week. I have met so many great, like minded people at this box, even some that have now become very close friends. We have come together from one common cause, to plot Ron and Tash's demise.... not because they are horrible people, because THEY ARE AMAZING COACHES and their work out plans and words of encouragement either make you want to throw up, curse them, cheer with them and push you that much harder to the finish goal. All of the coaches treat each person in the class as an individual and if you need extra help they will gladly be there. Their knowledge on nutrition and pre/post work out care is extensive and stems from both study and first hand experience. The facility is clean and cool, I mean looks cool and is also nice and cold, not like a stinky bikrum yoga room, and has everything you need stretch, work out, and stretch again! I would defiantly recommend this box to everyone... actually I do because 1st rule of Crossfit: tell everyone you joined Crossfit!

Absolutely love CrossFit STEPS. Ron and the whole crew are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for people looking to take their first CrossFit plunge, or people looking for a great new gym!

Went this morning as a drop-in, took me in like a lost puppy, as i could not get to my regular crossfit box, roads are flooded. Took the time to coach me like everybody else. Yes, i would recommend this box. Thanks again! 😊
