This is the best spot for bird lovers. The birds are so friendly and feed on your hands. Bring your best camera and some seeds to feed the birds. Must visit this location to watch small wild birds, goose, pelican, fish, water lily etc..Enjoy

Lovely park with a variety of trails.
There is a nice pier within easy walking distance to the parking area.
Washrooms; running water; and picnic tables available.
Lots of ducks, birds and geese to be seen at the pier.
This park is VERY busy during the summer on weekends and evenings.

What a gem of a park. It has wheelchair accessible parking, trails, and an amazing trail with a peir looking onto the lake . There are many species of birds that can be enjoyed in their natural habitat.
Most enjoyed that section of the park with my family. ❤👍

I came the other day on a gravel bicycle ride. I have always wanted to ride the south rim of the park by bicycle and I finally got the chance. Burnaby Lake is a beautiful park with lots of trails perfect for walking, horseback riding and cycling. A wonderful slice of nature in the heart of burnaby. The noise from the highway is not too bad and the trails are well maintained. 100% would ride again. On my favourite list.

What a nice treat on a Sunday ! I have never been to Burnaby Lake before. Thank goodness there are on site maps for the trails and observation sites.
We did one of the elevated sites with handcap rairs and ramps to look out over the water. What a view.
We only did half the trail I was just too hot to complete the journey. We stayed on the shady side. Lots of dogs on leash. And very few bikes going by.
I promise I will come back more prepared.

Nice environment!!! Good for hiking, too!!!
A bit difficult to park during weekends if the weather is nice!!!

Excellent park with tons of beautiful variety of birds 🦢 🦆 and a lake surrounded by nature trails which are well maintained. Wherever you are looking for a nice place for a walk, jog or run. Perhaps a fun activity outdoors with the kids. Burnaby Lake doesn’t disappoint.

It's a beautiful park with lots of parking.
Just off the highway it's easily accessible.
The parks are well kept with fencing and lights at night time. There is an open concession when there is events and most games.
It's gated and really clean. There are wheel chair ramps.
I love when my kids sports are here.

I love this park so much. The spit is one of my favorite places to go here and just sit and watch the birds. The paths are nice to walk too and the park is full of native plants and beautiful views.

This spot is my go to place to relax and feed some ducks. In the heart of Burnaby is Burnaby Lake. It’s decent size with packed gravel trails threaded through the park. Its well maintained and clean. There is easy access right at entrance for wheelchair and ample parking a bit further. Plenty of ducks to feed and always hungry. The birds will eat off your hand if you let it. This part of the park gets really busy on weekends and most evenings.

The trails are all cozy and easy to take a walk. There are also a lot of benches along the trails and around the lake, which you can always sit on and take a feast while you’re tired.
