best "à la carte" chinese sichuan option in the west island. a bit pricey but you get quality food as much as you want plus an incredible oolong tea. great to go with a group. i recommend the sichuan shrimps,the satay skewers, the general tao and the hunan dumplings. very scrumptious.

The food is fresh and so delicious. Curry is like homemade comfort food, breaded meats are lightly breaded with great sauces. The peanut butter dumplings are better than we've had anywhere else. The service is really friendly and timely and overall experience just really good. This restaurant is worth coming back to regularly, best all you can eat Chinese in Montreal. Go on a random week day instead of weekend and it isn't packed, food arrived really quickly in portions we could handle.

Very nice full-service Chinese restaurant. They have an all-you-can-eat menu for lunch and dinner so you can try a little of each item you fancy. I highly recommend.

One of the best Asian restaurants in my opinion. Beautiful ambiance, attentive wait staff, and of course the food is to die for. We went with the all you can eat option and left full and extremely satisfied. I think between the four of us we devoured 120 peanut butter hunan dumplings (a must try) as well as other great dishes like crispy beef and peppered chicken on a bed of sweet crispy spinach. The price isn't that bad either; compares to other all you can eat options so you might as well get good atmosphere too! Definitely worth trying

Been going to this place for years. The service is always great on top of nice attitude. It is well priced if you order off the all you can eat menu. The plates of food may seem small to some, but when you order 6 different things it hardly seems to matter. Plus you can always order a second plate if you wish. All in all great atmosphere, nice quite music and fantastic food!!

This is one of my favorite Szechuan restaurants in Montreal, we’ve been coming here since it opened. It’s in the West Island which is rather far from where I live so I don’t get to eat here often but when I do I go crazy! The staff is nice and usually quick. It’s pricey but the food is worth it! Very tasty and full of flavor. The shrimp toast is my favorite but I always dab a napkin on it because it is very oily. The ginger chicken is another one of my favorites, it’s so crispy and absolutely delicious. You’re not allowed to keep the pitcher of water on your table and sometimes it is so busy they forget to come refill your glass which I don’t like because I’m someone who drinks plenty of water especially when what I’m eating is full of sodium. We always sit in Kwan’s section because he always treats us so well. I’m always disappointed when we go and he isn’t working on that night.

They have a really good selection of food. The portions are very generous per plate.

The quality was very surprising. I will return. Paragraph key staff and management treat the place like home, you will be well served.

I have been going there for over 25 years and still my favorite place to go for a great supper. So much variety and price is good so the type of quality you get. Some people complain about the wait time for the food but at least you know its being done fresh on the spot and you are not eating reheated food. I have never been disappointed after all the years going there.

I would consider this restaurant to be the best Chinese restaurant in the West island, actually in Montreal! Not the most fancy looking restaurant, but I guess that's a luxury you can afford when you offer such great tasting food. I would definitely recommend this place for couples as well as big groups for birthday and such.

La perle is a great experience. Been coming here for years and when you don’t feel like going downtown this is the place to go for Chinese. A la carte is great and so is the all you can eat option. Peanut butter dumplings are amazing !!!!! You gotta eat here

The ambiance is exceptional, the staff are very helpful and delightfully pleasant. The food is great and the prices are affordable. Highly recommend stopping by if you're ever looking for some great tasting Chinese delicacies.

Haven't gone in 20 years and when we finally had a chance to go, I was hoping to get the same outstanding food and service that they were known for. It was exactly what I remember but a whole lot better. Food was outstanding and service was top notch.

The food is delicious! I love this place. I would recommend equally for casual AND formal gatherings. Not very amazing desert, but you won't really have any space after ravaging the main dishes! Bon appetit!

I will give this restaurant 5 stars on the only fact that they make the best Crispy sesame beef EVER! If you are a group, I suggest that you order a couple plates to share instead of opting for the all you can eat as you will have plenty food for a lower price.

Great food and great service. One of the better all you can eat Chinese places. Food takes a while and it's served in multiple courses so pen for a long evening. Better for groups of 4+

Mmmm... Just thinking about the hunan dumplings.. Dumplings covered in peanut sauce. My absolute favorite thing there. I love the all you can eat. I get my moneys worth. I actually find it very reasonably priced for the quality of food you get. Highly recommend

The coveted 5 star review. You always know what you’re getting at La Perle. If you’re not from here or new to the area you have to try it and you have to order all you can eat.

Service is good, food is good, value is good.

I've been going to La Perle for about 20 years now and the food is wonderful...so many choices, so many flavours. The shrimp toast, the yam gai salad, the Szechuan pepper chicken with crispy spinach, the beef with onions, the sweet and sour pork, the lemon chicken, the fried won tons, the Hunan dumplings and the orange beef are all very tasty. This restaurant is quiet and their is a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. You can really relax and enjoy your gourmet meal.

It is always something my whole family look forward to. We just love La Perle Restaurant. June is the best server there. Always smiling and very nice. Great food and reasonable price
