Latest reno/refresh has really brought some life back to the BCIT pub. Bar has been brought down to the lower level which grants it easier access to the majority of the seating. New, stylish high-back couches create booth-like areas with moderate privacy.

Menu offers up a better selection of burgers, sandwiches and other pub affair in the 11-15 range. Personally, I think this is the best option for food in terms of flavour if you have the option to wait (sit down or take out). I would love for an option order online or via app(prepay) and pick up.

Original review was 2018, update for 2024: Most of the burgers/sandwiches are $18 now making this a poor lunch option and an okay dinner option.

I'm very impressed by their beer selection and beer specials.

The regular servers are very friendly and do a great job on those days when the place is packed (first week of school or end of exams).

Everyone always says service is slow here, but I really think things have picked up here over the last year.

I wouldn't normally give five stars to a place unless their food was also great (although some dishes here are), but this is a pub and who goes to a pub for great food anyways. Come here for the beer 🍻

THEY HAVE FOOD

i know this is a pub and the general expectation would be that is is "pub food" but the food here is really good. so good, that my friends from my work office down the street insist on coming here even though they dont drink. thats a testament to how good the food is. sometimes gets a bit weird cause the students like to get a bit rowdy... but its all part of the charm IMHO. has tons of seats too: never had to wait to get in. the patio is sloped a fair bit which kinda sucks but if you sit inside with some friends, grab a few drinks and some great food... you will not be disappointed.

I've been a weekly patron of the Habitat for over a year. After a long-lasting, friendly, personable and attentive bartender left over the Winter Break, I thought the time for my weekly beer would be a lot worse off. I was wrong. The current serving staff have been nothing short of awesome. I can see the point of some people complaining about the speed of service, but personally I've never had an issue with service here, either at the bar or at a table. Beers come to the table quickly and are cold and sometimes put into a chilled glass.

Best fries ever! It's been closed for a while (pandemic) but I usually work upstairs, and I've been missing it! Can't wait to go back and get delicious hot lunch again.

Went here as a I was in the area and googled local pub. Thought I'd check it out. Had a great server I think her name was april. She was attentive and funny and it was super busy. I was very impressed my glass was never empty and food was prompt hot and tasty. Will definitely go back and ask to sit in her section. Definitely recommend.

Living on campus for 6 weeks and I've been to the pub several times to eat, drink, study and watch football. Friendly and prompt service, food is solid quality and reasonably priced, drink specials everyday and multiple TVs. Very comfy chairs too.

Great environment, enough games to play for the whole night. Went there for a team event and it was a ton of fun. Staff are amazing and friendly, had the Habitat burger and it was fantastic. No complaints

This place has a nice staff who offers a great service. After the place got a new face, it got much better atmosphere. if you are student or work around, it is a great place to have some beers after work.

Looks great post-renovations! There are different drink specials every day and the food is always great. I've always liked the staff here as well.

Pool tables and games. Good food at similar prices to other places on campus. You can order food to go and eat elsewhere.

Had avo and shrimp salad and fish tacos and it was great

Great place to get a drink after class or finals, good service and drink specials are pretty good
