First time ever to whistle Bare which was just a short drive from home. It was great having the taste of what a seasonal would be like for a week. Great spacious clean sites. Fantastic fishing... absolutely a hidden gem! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Thanks, whistle Bare!!!!! definitely returning for another great adventure!

Laura was fantastic to deal with! Campground is very quiet, lots of trees. We had a pull thru RV site and it was spacious and beautiful. Would definitely stay again!!

We have a large site. Mature trees so lots of shade. Not a lot of amenities yet. Older Campground so the buildings are looking a bit tired. Lots of effort goes into making things nice. People here are generally quite nice and have yet to have a loud party. Owners are very helpful and they do have rules. Only negative really is the proximity of the 401. It is like background noise. Very happy here. Our family loves it here

Wow. Big lots, big trees, big on service. There's a clean safe swim pond with giant inflatables for kids. There's a catch & release fish pond and easy walking trails. It's quiet. There's a variety of regular events like horseshoes and food trucks. Surprisingly close to shopping and cinemas.

It is so popular with seasonal rentals, there's now only a dozen or so overnight sites that are not seasonals.

The biggest impression? Terrific service. Responsive, pro-active and professional. We are returning this fall, and two long visits next year.

We enjoyed of vists to Whistle Bare Campgrounds. Our camp site was large.
We were loved splashing around in the pond and the use of our little rubber boat for the first time.
Laura was very help and friendly.
My daughter caught her first fish in catch and release pond great memories.
This was a great experince that we hope to do again.

we tent camped for just a weekend but wish we had planned to stay longer! the sites were great in size, we even got our own bathroom with a shower which was super convenient (not to mention the bathroom and shower were spotless and very well maintained!) we had a minor mix up with our hydro but Laura was very quick to fix things up and get things organized, she was super nice and helpful! overall, it was a great stay at a beautiful campground and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or somewhere to bring the kids!

We stayed at Whistle Bare Campground during our son's hockey tournament. The park is beautiful. Our kids swam in the pond and loved the inflatable structure on the pond. Shower was clean and our kids played bingo. The were accommodating and made us feel welcome. Thank u for a great experience. We will be back in 2020!

We traveled to the area for a 2 day horse show. Whistle Bare was the perfect place to stay. Easy to get to from the 401. Close to Cambridge and Paris. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The sites are big with plenty of shade. Kids enjoyed the swimming pond and bouncy toys in the pond!

We love whistlebare! This is mainly a trailer park but there are a couple of overnight tent sites. It’s the perfect size for a relaxed stay, no one is rowdy and there’s not an enormous crowd at the swimming pond. We really enjoyed playing bingo. We hope to be able to make at least one yearly trip to this park.

We stayed at Whistlebare for the 2020 season and had the best site that we have had in all of our travels throughout Ontario. Laura was great to deal with. Bob, Marilyn and Justin kept the grounds immaculate. Thank you for keeping us all safe through this pandemic, Terry and Barb

Whistle Bear campground is a great place, sites are large, and the owners are amazing and so accommodating. It's a beautiful spot, lots of trees and very clean. Lots of work done this year to make it family friendly. Weekly newsletters of updates and events that are taking place that week. Would highly recommend checking it out and seeing for yourself.

Whistle bare is the kind of park u visit and NEVER want to leave. I have been here for a month now and i just love it. I feel like i get the best of both worlds as a seasonal camper. During the week its very quiet and relaxing, on the weekends its busy and they have lots of activities. I am soo looking forward to Kareoke and bingo!!!! The people here are very friendly. The grounds are very well kept. Lots of space for nature walks. It is situated in an area where i am five minutes from kitchener, or cambridge, so i can choose where i want to shop. The owner is very down to earth, a complete sweetheart! I was pretty surprised when she took time out of her day and walked all thru the park to come to my door to check on my sick doggy. There are alot of overnighters and weekenders here, and wow have i met some wonderful ppl from all over!!! They are very strict on the speed limit, but i am greatful for this because its a comfort to know that our children and grandkids are in a safe environment and that the park is looking out for them!. TY Whistle bare for making this one of the best four weeks of my life.

So beautiful! Nice and close so we can visit frequently, great amenities and seems like new things added every year. Also, the staff are super friendly! You can tell a lot of love and care goes in to this park.
Peace of mind with the gated front too.

Very nice, squeezed us in last minute on the long weekend. Nearly miraculously clean washrooms...even after long weekend surge. Close to the 401, light traffic noise, but the environment was well worth it. Nice little pond for kids (or 30 year olds! ) nice relaxed atmosphere.

I have camped at this campground with Girl Guides Of Canada, but our last stay I will never forget..... we had a fire in May and didn’t have a place to stay in the beginning so we started calling campgrounds. Whistle bare was the one that answered our call that night. Please keep in mind they were still closed for the season, but she didn’t care, even if she had to put us up in her front yard she was going to get us a place! Just now taking our motor home out of there ( but it will be back there!) I was a little emotional.... I will never forget their kindness towards us. Thank you so much Whistle Bare Campground <3 :)

I am new in this place since it is listed in the top of best campground.I like to give it try. We have large groups for tents and trailer. Unfortunately the place doesn’t have enough spots for us. However, the customer service is beyond my expectation. The response is very quick and Laura even gives us an alternative suggestion. It helps.
