Water’s Edge Retreat

My sister, mother, and I stayed in the Captain's Quarters for our mother's birthday. It was perfect, the house is beautiful, and everything's charming. A perfect getaway. Tricia and Rick make you feel like family. Early morning breakfast snack, breakfast, evening cheese board/sangria, and nightly snacks are made from scratch and absolutely delicious! From their deck you can see perfect sunrises. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous, clean bed and breakfast last weekend. Rick and Tricia were welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast that was served each day was the best meal of the day. The 5:00pm sangria and cheese was always something to look forward to. Then the evening treats were homemade and a delicious way to end the day. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you again.

My wife and I stayed a night here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was so nice, we wish we had booked 2 nights. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and luxurious. The lake views are fantastic. We spent most of our morning sitting on the porch, watching the water and sipping coffee. The owners are very friendly & accommodating. We're hoping to go back next year!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary on Kelleys Island, choosing here to stay. The innkeepers, Tricia & Cody, are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Charles Lawrence suite, which was spacious and amazing. A separate sitting room, balcony, and fireplace make this room unique, in addition to the jacuzzi tub. We loved the daily sangria with cheese and crackers! And breakfast is freshly prepared with not-your-average dishes (the lemon ricotta pancakes!!). This is a can't miss location if you are celebrating something special on the island!

I am struggling with this review because I would like to keep this gem a secret. Trisha and Rick are amazing. They made us feel at home. Breakfast was perfect each morning and the sangria at happy hour was amazing. The views are stunning and there is no bad room in the place. Just pick one and you will love the experience. My wife said “it’s just like staying with family on the lake”. We can’t wait to come back.

The perfect romantic destination for newlyweds/anniversaries or relaxing & adventurous island vacation with friends & family. An exquisite B&B with charm & character. Enjoyed reading history of Kelleys Island literature and nautical decor in the fireplace room. Breathtaking views of Lake Erie throughout. Had a delicious quiche for breakfast plus a sangria & cheese hour every afternoon. Rick & Trish the owners are very friendly and helpful with great recommendations to explore the island. Well worth every cent & more! I’ll be back

Best B&B ever! Great location on the island and amazing views of Lake Erie and Cedar Point from the room, living room, and porch. The breakfast was amazing. So much variety and tons of options. A bit on the pricey side, but it's hard to put a price on that rest and relaxation. Will certainly visit again.

The house and atmosphere were worth coming for. Beautifully decorated and situated on the edge of Lake Erie on Kelly's Island. Trish made some amazing food for us guests. Rick and Trish,( the owners)were very inviting and liked to converse with the guests. Would encourage everyone to stay at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Trish and Rick for a great experience.

Absolutely lovely. Minty clean and warm and welcoming. If you want a secluded, waterfront get-away on a quiet island in Ohio, visit this B&B. Located on a fantastic spot on this tiny island, room was spotless, bed was comfy, breakfast was impressive and hospitality a 10 out of 10. HIGHLY recommend.

Celebrated our anniversary on the island. Beth and Tim were wonderful...super friendly and very accommodating. The inn is immaculate. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite which was very large with a private balcony. I cannot wait to go back next year. Oh, don't let me forget about the breakfast...magnificent, and the sangrias...yum-yum.

Wow! Fantastic Bed and Breakfast! The home.. David the host.. the breakfast the view all wonderful! The Island is a gem! If you are looking for an amazing get away.. this is the place to go and place to stay! David we will be re booking next year!

This was our first time to Kelley's Island and so happy we stayed at Waters Edge. Beautiful home, rooms,views and breakfast. Location was perfect! Close to everything. Dave and staff were wonderful! Can't wait to come back!

One of, if not THE BEST Bed and Breakfasts on Kelley's Island. My wife and I have been there 3 times and had our wedding there. A very well-kept, cozy and unique B&B right on the shore!

A quaint, wonderful local vacation during COVID. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We looked forward to sangria hour so we could drink it down by the water and read. Used the free bikes everyday!

If you want quiet -- this is the place--lakefront views, off the beaten path, David is the ideal host preparing breakfast every morning and occasionally serenading guests with his guitar and vocals. The place is clean and the clientele convivial.

Most relaxing place I have been. I was sad when I had to leave. I left wishing that I was rich so that I could live there!! Couldn't ask for better breakfast better hospitality better hors d'oeuvres. Amazing chocolate mousse cake!! Clean any maculent and that says a lot because I have OCD I like everything in order 😎🥰👌🏽 it

My wife booked this for a surprise Birthday and the service and stay was absolutely fabulous! The owners really know what they are doing. Best spot by far on Kelley's Island period!
