Kelleys Island General Store

This is a nice store. I went here while visiting Kelley’s Island and was satisfied with my experience. This store is pretty large and has a wooden interior, designed to look like an old country store. This store has several nice teal, black, and white jackets that say Kelley’s Island in them, along with sun shirts, t shirts, silicone cups, and other paraphernalia with the words Kelley’s Island on them. This place also rents golf carts for $14 an hour, which is cheaper than the place across the street and a much better deal than what you’d get on Put-in-Bay. I bought some jackets and the store was able to hold onto them behind the counter while I rented a golf cart, which was pretty nice of them. I gave this store five stars because they have some nice merchandise and great golf carts at an amazing price.

Great place to buy souvenirs while your on the island. They have the best deal on golf cart rental. The staff was just fantastic at this store. I would recommend stopping by.

People there are very friendly and helpful. Place to rent a golf cart, much cheaper then everywhere else on the island.

The general store is very nice. Souvenirs are more affordable here and we were also able to rent a golf cart here. The young lady working there was wonderful.

Rented our golf cart here and it was really nice. The store had a wide selection of island goods like shirts and hats. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out when visiting the island.

This without a doubt was one of the nicer gift shops and functional General Store. The store itself was so nice on the interior with a huge selection personalized gifts to remember your trip to the islands. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They even have a section there for the everyday items you may need ie. batteries, fishing gear, camping equipment. I would certainly recommend this store if you're ever in the area.

Great shop for visitors. Has trinkets for the kids as well as supplies for the locals. They have a great selection of clothes that are priced well. The staff is very friendly. Located in the heart of downtown.

Rented golf cart and had an excellent tour of the island and glacier. Other cart rental would not rent to us for another hour. We only had 2 hours! General Store is the place to use if you need anything. Nice selection of souvenirs and shirts.

This is definitely the best store on the island. They sell souvenir type stuff as well as normal grocery items for the locals. It's worth checking out especially if you are visiting the island for the first time.

Staff was helpful and very pleasant. Although all merchants have limited supplies I was very happy with my purchases for gift giving and plan on another visit or two this year

Get your golf cart here! Cheapest and you can return it the latest at night as well! Don’t waste your time on other golf carts

I kept hearing about this store from all over the midwest. I finally decided to stop in and it was amazing. I believe they are called the General store because they generally have everything you need. The workers are friendly and the owner is extremely helpful, not to mention a hunk. If you are ever on kelleys make sure you visit this staple of a store that holds the island together.

Friendly, courteous staff, great Island store atmosphere, lots of stuff you thought you didn't need. I scanned the code to go online & order Kelleys Island name keyrings for myself & my friend & sisters & brother in law.
