We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Forest Lawn Funeral Home. From our very first meeting with Rebecca and Sam, we felt comforted knowing every detail of our father's funeral service and interment would be taken care of with utmost care and detail. Rebecca went above and beyond to support us in every way. The visitation and service spaces were set up so thoughtfully, from the placement of the floral arrangements and photos, to the selected music. She provided thorough information and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. On the service day, she showed such kindness and respect throughout each step of the service.

Forest Lawn is also an incredibly beautiful and serene cemetery. Philip, the coach driver, drove throughout the grounds so that we could view it all and feel a sense of peace knowing my father would be resting there.

The funeral director, Christopher Farley, was great to work with. It was a first time for many of our family members trying to put everything together. Christopher was so patient throughout the entire process from helping us select a time, to coordinating the minor details and answering our questions. He helped make it simple, efficient and organized, and the attention to detail were second to none. The entire team was professional and compassionate. Everyone, from Christopher, to the on-site evening attendants, to the hosts during the service, to Gerald and the ground crew, did an amazing job. We could not have asked for more, thank you for making this a memorable day and a proper farewell for our grandmother.

The team at Forest Lawn Funeral Home has been compassionate, caring and professional. From my initial touchpoint with Rowan and Ilish on the day my husband passed away, I felt their compassion and care, to meeting up with Sarene and Austin a couple of days after to go through the details of the services, I felt immediately at ease and knew I was in capable hands. As well, Linda and Rosemary have been pleasant and kind.

Sarene Nordwall has guided me every step in the process. It was seamless. I didn’t have anything to worry about. I can lean on their expertise to ensure all the things required for my husband’s service was taken cared of.

Their concern also extend beyond the services. They provided me with the contact to the Compassion Helpline to provide emotional support. I appreciate and am grateful for all this team did for me at this time of loss and sorrow.

Our Funeral Director Gabrielle Toth was outstanding and should be commended for her professionalism and compassion in our time of need. Tenaya and Rebecca were outstanding. They came over to pick up all the items I wanted at the service.And even returned everything after the service . Tenaya responded immediately to many questions I had. She texted me even on her day off and out of work hours. She contacted Rebecca when she wasn't at work several times to adhere to my requests or concerns.Tenaya went above and beyond for me. She never used the word no, she always tried her best to accommodate me. Tenaya and Rebecca worked very hard on the obituary page and with the video. Everything turned out perfectly.Tenaya is a true gem.
I consider her a friend for life. She is one of a kind, extremely empathetic, detailed, compassionate, hard working, and dedicated to her job. My mom passed away three weeks ago at age of 95. Rebecca, Monique, Lina and their team at Forest Lawn made everything so easy and smooth for my brothers and sister re mom's funeral service and burial. There were no pressure selling and everything was planned and executed in a professional and friendly manner. They deserve a raise or an incentive trip to Hawaii/ Caribbean.

We are very pleased with the service we received from everyone here. Gabrielle was professional, compassionate and so helpful during this difficult time for us. We did not know what to expect in planning a funeral but she thoroughly went over all the details of service and accommodated our needs. Any questions we had in our email exchanges were quickly answered which provided much reassurance for us. Even days after service, Gabrielle continued to be of help when we had questions. We are thankful for her wonderful service.

During one of the most difficult times in our lives (after our mother passed away), our experience at Forest Lawn was exceptional. Our funeral director Rebecca was attentive to our every need. She showed incredible compassion, patience and care in the days leading up to the service, and on the day of the service. Given that we hadn't made any funeral arrangements in advance, Rebecca guided us expertly through the process from start to finish. She solved last-minute challenges with professionalism and ease. We are grateful to her for all of her efforts, as well as Seita for helping us with the burial plot. We are thankful to have entrusted Forest Lawn for our mother's funeral service and send-off. The overall experience was very special for us. Everything went very smoothly considering the sad circumstances. Forest Lawn provided the utmost care for our Dad. A couple very special moments were especially when Greg and Ilish offered to assist my Mom ( a hairstylist) to give my beloved Dad his very last haircut. Also we appreciate the care taken to assist with ensuring we could play some of my Dad’s favourite songs during the visitation and funeral services.
