Lachute Subaru

I recently bought a used Subaru from this dealer and I was amazed by the all around personalized customer service I received. No pressure and our sales representative Ludovick took the time to explain every aspect of our purchase. And believe me I had many questions. The director of the concession even came to greet us for a quick chat on our experience. The day I picked up the car, it was waiting for me in the showroom so that it would stay clean, it was a rainy day. I mean a used car in the showroom, might be a normal thing but it had the wow effect on me. What can I say, I give respect when respect is due. 5*+

Dominic was amazing! He even came in on the weekend when the dealership was closed to complete the deal. We are a Subaru family and will be dealing with Lachute Subaru for our next subie purchases. Thank you for everything Dominic. The car is beautiful.

I had a great experience at Lachute Subaru! For a couple of weeks, I had been test driving different makes of SUVs in the Ottawa area. One day, I noticed an Ascent was available for purchase in Lachute. I called the dealership and spoke with Dominic. I had never purchased a vehicle in the province of Québec, and being an Ontario resident, I was curious to know how it worked. Dominic immediately put my mind at ease by answering all my questions over the phone. He walked me through the process of buying a vehicle in Québec. I was so impressed with his transparency and friendliness that I decided to drive to Lachute that very same day to test drive the car!

When I arrived at the dealership, a kind woman by the name of Marlène greeted me immediately as Dominic was helping another client. She didn’t want to keep me waiting, so she brought me out for a test drive. Afterwards, I sat down with Dominic to review the Carfax, as well as the recent vehicle inspection for the Ascent. Dominic was patient and professional as he answered a few other questions of mine. I ultimately decided to purchase the vehicle and I couldn’t be happier!

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. I was very impressed with their customer service. There is a real sense of teamwork and collaboration between the employees at Lachute Subaru. They take great pride in their vehicles, and their priority is customer satisfaction. Great service! Dom was very helpful and helped me find a car that met my needs. He included winter mats which I really appreciate ;)

Our Forrester developed engine issues and we just managed to coast into the service department. They juggled some work and got a tech to work on the car. He fixed the issue and we were on the road again. Very good service both at the reception and mechanic. Definitely a good place to get service.

Update: When I bought a car from the dealership, I brought in a trade in. I accidentally left my garage door opener in my trade in. When I noticed, I called Dominique and he was very happy to let me know he will mail it to me. This all took place on Monday afternoon. Today is Wednesday and I just received my garage door opener in the mail for expressed shipping. I cannot express how appreciated I feel as a customer and I wanted to add this update as I felt my previous review is not doing them justice. I can tell from this little thing that they will appreciate your business.

I was interested in a used Forester at La Chute Subaru, but ultimately chose a different used vehicle at another dealership, simply because it was a newer model with lower mileage. Despite that, La Chute, and Dominic in particular, were very professional and helpful throughout. Dominic was quick with replies and information. He was a great salesperson to deal with, especially compared to many other dealerships i had visited. I highly recommend La Chute Subaru and Dominic.

Purchased a pre-owned vehicle a month ago and did not take the extended warranty.
Within a week I noticed the radio was malfunctioning and anticipated problems.
To my surprise their service department replaced it with no issues whatsoever.
