Perpetual Insurance Services

This was the old location of Peter MacDonald Insurance Agencies Ltd. I believe the previous owner retired. Business is on Victoria Drive and East 40th Ave. Location is now occupied by Perpetual Insurance. Perpetual Insurance renovated the interior and changed the signage.

I was here with my family to do ICBC insurance. The staff who helped us is Ken. Ken is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He answered our questions in both English and Cantonese. Also the insurance files are not lying around the office like some other places I’ve been to. There are parking on Victoria Dr., side street or at the back of the business. As there’s a pandemic right now the business also offers hand sanitizer.

Very Good Service and was the only place I could find that had complimentary 2022 Calendars available.

Look forward to renewing my Insurance their again next year.

We had a very poor experience here and would not recommend this business.

A week ago we came in asking for a quote on home insurance and the agent provided the quote along with a case # to use if we decided to purchase the insurance in the future. He said we could bring this quote to either the current location or the one in Richmond and someone would be able to help us.

When we went in today wanting to actually purchase the insurance, we brought the # along with us and the printed quote the previous agent provided us. It was a different agent today who was very rude and seemed like he didn't actually want to help us at all. He said he did not know what the number was and could not sell us the insurance his office quoted us on last week. He said we would have to wait until the other agent returned from their vacation in order to sell us the insurance. This was very confusing as the other agent at the same office provided us this # and assured us we could purchase in the future at either office. He also did not tell us that only he could sell us the insurance.

This was a Tuesday at 4 PM and the agent working there was very rude and dismissive. We will be looking to purchase insurance from somewhere else.

Terrible customer service from the older Asian man at 4:15 pm on Tuesday, November 22nd! I come to this location (Victoria drive in Vancouver) every year to get travel insurance and car insurance so that’s why I came today to ask for 2 calendars. When I asked this man for calendars he asked for my policy number and I was so shocked! I told him that I had NO IDEA that I needed to prove my policy number to you in order to get a calendar! He gave me ONE calendar and I told him that I would never be back to this horrible, inconsiderate, rude, and cheap location! DO NOT COME HERE! I will be switching over to S&S insurance immediately!
