This is an awesome laundromat! After the last fiasco at Royal Oak Laundry, I was really dreading a repeated experience. The owner was a few minutes late so it was not off to a great start BUT his excellent customer service made up for it.

The owner was super friendly, helpful and although he walked around the laundromat alot, it was in the spirit of providing helpful advice and not micromanaging. He made zero comments to me (or others) about how much laundry/what kind of laundry we were allowed to put in the machines. When I asked about a bigger washer, he was welcoming and directed me to one without ever questioning/interrogation. I was a bit slow with loading and another customer came in. I think he wanted to use the other big washer and the owner was kind enough to check with me, which was deeply appreciated.

It seems alot of the customers are regulars as they called the owner by name and had familiar conversations. There was a (possibly) unhoused man who was doing laundry and the owner treated him with great respect and dignity. He checked in on him as frequently as he checked in with all the customers.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. It restored my impression of neighbourhood laundromats and humanity. The laundromat was clean, service was professional and friendly, lots of parking, all the machines were working, and it ran like clockwork. I would highly recommend King Koin Laudry!

We started taking our clothing to King Koin for drop off laundry service after another provider lost pieces of our clothing on several occasions. Since, and for over a year, we have had an amazing experience here.

We drop off our laundry and arrange to pick it up the next day. At times we request our personal detergent be used and it is never a problem. We separate our laundry into dry and hang dry and it is always done accurately. Unlike previous experiences, with other providers, there is never any untoward smell, such as cigarette smoke, on the clothes. And importantly, nothing is ever missing.

In addition, the service is very personable. The owners are very nice and when required, we are able to text with questions or concerns. One thing we've really appreciated, which is super niche, is the way they fold our socks and underwear, as demonstrated in the picture. It really helps with storing them when we get them home to our drawers.

If you are looking for a drop off laundry service, I highly recommend this company!

Friendly owner who gives advice & change. Very competitive rates. Detergents are available for purchase if required. The machines mainly take 25 cent coins. There are a few parking slots spots outside.

Kind people run the place. Open during a snowstorm that closed most other laundromats. Have machines for large bedding.

Been here a few times, went to a few other places. We had to come back to this one. The place is clean, staff is friendly willing to give guidance. They don't try to rip you off, want you to make the most out of your trip and make it easy for you to do your laundry. They have spacious folding tables, places to sit and wait while your laundry is being done, plenty of washers and dryers for all load types. Enough room to allow you to follow guidelines for distancing. I would recommend this place if your looking for an easy going comfortable location to do your laundry.

Used the large washer for my comforter. Cost is $8 for a 23 minutes cycle, not including detergent (I brought my own). Professional and friendly service. Good seating inside.

Never used a coin laundry before. Owners are very welcoming, family owned business. Awesome coffee shop opposite to kill some time in as well.

This is simply the best coin laundry service in all of Burnaby! It was my first time here and Marvin was very helpful with explaining how to operate the machines. Great experience overall and positive vibes from this family owned business.. will definitely be coming back here going forward.

Talk about amazing customer service! I frantically came by here last minute after my dryer broke down at home, and the lady (who I'm assuming is the owner) told me without any hesitation, that I needn't worry about the closing time and she'd more than okay with me drying my sopping wet bedding. Very rare to find people who are this understanding and compassionate. I would definitely come back here again 😊

Words can’t begin to describe how grateful I am. My mom broke her pelvis recently and I got behind on laundry. I’m a single mother and it’s hard to keep up under the best of circumstances. In the chaos, I decided to round our laundry up and take it for transfer and fold service. I left $361 in a pocket and received it back in full as well as perfectly folded laundry for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this laundry. Very kind owners.
