I was shocked to see the CTV news this morning exposing Concord Painting for exploiting foreign workers. It’s disgraceful that they’re paying these workers only $8 an hour instead of the promised $23, and refusing to pay overtime. On top of that, they're housing them in terrible conditions.

What’s even more frustrating is that the BC NDP government has known about these kinds of abuses for years and has done nothing. They seem more interested in securing their own re-election and paying back their unions and buddies than in protecting vulnerable workers. This exploitation needs to end, and the government needs to be held accountable for its inaction.
