Como lake is a peaceful and beautiful place specially for families. It has good walking trail, tables for picnic and a small fenced playground for kids. There is 2 separate parking lots for free. Enjoy your time there.

Lovely municipal park. Well-groomed walking trail that circles the lake. We saw ducks and geese, as well as their ducklings and goslings. Several people fishing and a few leashed dogs out for a walk. Ping pong tables, picnic tables, benches to enjoy the view and a children’s playground. Just watch out for the goose droppings.

Great park for the kids, loved that it’s fenced. Felt relaxing as a parent not worrying about them getting too close to the road / water / strangers. The trees and sun shade are nice. The walk around the lake is short, but very pleasant. Glad to know too there is a bathroom on the loop. Don’t know why it says closed on weekends because it was very much open when we went. Lots of people enjoying the green space and water. Recommended!!

Imagine a lake when it’s calm, its surface like a mirror, reflecting everything around. Imagine the lake when it’s windy and sunny, the surface sparkling like shimmering diamonds! So many different moods. I enjoyed a lot!

First time in the como lake park. It was a great experience as you can walk around the lake while enjoy the encounter with geese, ducks and dragonflies. I didn’t bring a bike but I’ve seen family bikers there or kids and toddler with bike. It’s a great flat clean road to bike with any age.
Playground was fun and clean. My daughter loved it. Fence around it and little shade was much appreciated.

Lovely park! Lots of easy, free parking. Cute, new build playground for kids under 5. Dock for fishing. The walk around the lake is flat, easy, beautiful, and done in 10 minutes give or take. Restrooms available.

Really nice small lake with trail all the way around it. Well kept didn't see any garbage laying around, two small parking lots on either side of lake. Bathrooms, has a boardwalk going out onto the water, lots of geese/ ducks everywhere perfect place to bring your friends and family for a walk. There is also a little island in the middle of the lake looks cool.

Google maps brings you right to the parking lot.

Small but beautiful lake surrounded by very easy trail.

If you’re looking to have a picnic, there are roughly about 8 tables around it. Plenty of grass for those who don’t mind sitting on the grass. I suggest bringing a blanket because there are many duck and geese droppings.

It is a lovely walk around the beautiful lake. Being flat, it is great for seniors and folks with strollers. There are ducks and geese and some fishing is allowed. There are washrooms and picnic tables as well as a kids playground so it is perfect for a family outing. Parking is limited but there are constantly people coming and going so the turnaround is fairly quick.

This is a super cute and beautiful park in Coquitlam. I went there to walk a little bit and it was so wonderful. There’s many spots where there is benches to sit and some picnic tables as well so it’s a nice spot to go during the summer time to hang out. It’s not overly busy compared to some other parks so that’s really nice. They do have a small playground for anyone with young children. Plus ample parking around (either street parking or actually small parking lots). The also have small bridges or platforms (not sure if this is the correct term) that go out in to the water that people can walk on to.

Just be aware of all the geese and birds though. There’s a ton of them here. They won’t bother you if you just leave them alone as well.

Very nice quiet little park. I come here with my dog all the time now and I see all kinds of people and all ages as well. Everyone seems friendly.

This place is so calming for me all the time. Must visit on a foggy day, lots of amazing pictures you can capture! It’s a flat, round trail, easy for kids and elders to walk. You will have a view of the lake in most part, but since it’s also in the middle of suburban area it’s not secluded as say the lake at Mundy’s Park.

That said, put your headphones in, listen to your favourite audio book -I’m listening to Wheel Of Time these days- and just walk in loops to feel better, enjoy the lake and ducks and in summer beautiful flower arrangements!

Beautiful little park in a residential area. Very nice place to walk the dog or go for a run. It’s all gravel, probably about 10 mins to walk the whole way around. They also have decent washrooms on site and picnic tables. You can also use your own non-powered boats there or fish off the docks.

Nice park but should be cleaned up a little bit especially the beaches.

Gentle stroll and ample parking.

If you want a good walk this is the place to be. It has trees that give off oxygen which many lack in 2018.

Thanks

Wonderful little lake in the middle of the city. Great for fishing. No good for paddle boarding or canoeing. Kids also can enjoy here.
