Amazing experience at solar nail spa!! really reasonable prices ($37 for shellac mani with removal of old shellac) and grateful that I was able to get really good service :) really happy with my nails. Highly recommend them

Kathy is absolutely amazing! Her attention to details, nail design, communication, customer care, in every way she’s #1. I’ve been to many places and I’ve never been so happy like I am with her work, and I’m very picky! She’s very talented and so fast. She never complained about the complicated designs I asked her for and she doesn’t take too much time like other technicians I’ve been to in other salons.
This was my second time going to her and I can’t get my eyes off of the amazing job she did on my nails. The first time she did a very good job as well and I received a lot of compliments. I totally recommend her.

The overall service in the salon is very good as well. I always call them last minute and they take me in shortly, even though they are busy. They have a very good time management. I like the overall culture of the salon also. They pay attention to their customers and communicate with them rather than chatting to each other in their language which you usually see in other salons.

"CHOCOLATE my salonist" is the best!I just treated myself to a pedicure& gel aswell as foot waxing! GIRLS you must go here! You deserve to be pampered! Lynn did my nails! I would give 10 stars if I could. What a wonderful group of Ladies! Such a fun relaxing place. !!

I go here every two weeks and absolutely love the job they do! I spent years struggling with finding the right place that would do a job I liked but walking in here is a dream come true! the staff have great service, are friendly and actually help advise on what’s best for your nail health. I would 10/10 recommend

Kathy does an AMAZING job on my nails every time! She takes time to make your nails exactly how you like it! I have never had a nail tech be so precise with her work before! Never going anywhere else!!

Came here for the first time and Katy did my nails. By far the best mani I have ever received. The front staff is also very nice and squeezed me in! Thank you will definitely be returning.

i always have a good experience here! when i make appointments i don’t ask for specific nail techs so I’ve gotten my nails done from most of them & service is always good

Fast and efficient but don't cut corners on good and friendly but effective service. Did a beautiful job and they just me as a walk in. Did eyebrows and nails here today. I am so happy with the quality of their work and was surprised at the speed. Was quick and painless, literally. Usually it hurts to get my eyebrows done but they took great care of me here. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness.

After 6 months of regrowing a damaged index fingernail, the nail was disfigured and hasn't been the same since. My technician (Chloe) did a fantastic job re-shaping the nail and provided great advice on how to recover my nail bed.

The mani/pedicure process was thorough and the massage was invigorating! Looking forward to returning to this friendly spa - 5/5 🌻

Kathy is amazing! She does such an amazing job and she is just an all round really nice person. She is so detailed and is a perfectionist but very fast!

Chocolate at Solar Nails is so sweet. She did an incredibly good job on my gel manicure and could tell I was tired so even let me take a break and grab a coffee from the place next door. She really puts time, energy and effort in to her work. Also, she made the conversation relatable because I had just come back from Nanaimo and she shared her own stories from that place. Sometimes it's awkward having small talk but she was so personable she deserves 5 stars! Good Job!

I had my nails done at Solar nail & spa. It was a good experience. But that would be perfect if they used clean towel for each customer and also sanitized the nail clipper and other nailing stuff after using for each customer.

I go here regularly and have never had a bad experience and am shocked at the comments posted here. They speak Vietnamese, and the reason I know this is because I take the time to talk to them and treat them like human beings. I send my friends and family here and they also have never had a bad experience. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality is exceptional. I get shellac every time and my nails last almost a month. I am happy to give them my business

I like this place. I went in for a nail fill and decided last minute to get shellac. The lady who did my nails was very gentle in cleaning my old gel nails. The shellac job was really well done and the color came out beautiful. I would really recommend this place, especially when they're not so busy. Going in the morning or early afternoon is a pretty good time and there's a nice waves coffee shop near by to pick up a coffee before or after hand.

The parking situation is pretty great too, so you don't have to worry about that. Its never really all that busy.

I love solar nails. I come here every month or two to see Judy for my pedicures. CIAO / CHAO is amazing as well for ingrown nail so is Chloe. Chao no longer works there

I’ve been coming here for over a year! I love the ladies! It’s a sense of community walking in! My fiancé also enjoys the services, and loves the massage chairs!

I really love this place. Have been going here since I was 16 and love that they always give me and my mom great service and are always so nice. Sometimes yes, if they're swamped, they rush but they still leave my toes and fingers beautiful. And anyone complaininh about how they speak in their language all the time and that they answer their phones while on the job, just be quiet. They have to deal with nasty feet and hands, waxing private parts and etc so they should be able to do what they want. Prices do vary, which is why you should double, triple and quadruple ask just how much it would be for what you are getting. They are amazing ladies. And do a great job.

Kathy’s great! Loved every second of my pedicure and I’ve been getting my nails done by her for about 6 months. Great service!
