Just bought a great pre-owned vehicle from Mike and couldn't agree more with all the positive reviews listed here. Super friendly and professional, knowledgeable and honest, and treated us very fairly, even generously, which is rare! If I lived closer he'd definitely be my go-to mechanic as well. Highly recommend!

We purchased a rebuilt 2015 Mazda CX-5 from Mike. It was an extremely pleasant and relaxed experience. Mike is open, honest, friendly and not interested in any of the irritating nonsense that so often defines a purchase from dealers off the lot. He provided us with photos of the vehicle before repairs and all of the service records for the past 7 years. Mike also did not discourage us from getting a 3rd party inspection of the vehicle before purchase. We would recommend Mike to anyone -without reservation!

Great work and great people. I needed a Salvage inspection and everyone was kind and helped me get the inspections I needed. They are knowledgeable about their craft and fair with their pricing. I would come back anytime.

A couple of years ago, I thought I needed a new timing belt and took it in. Instead of doing this expensive service that I myself requested, Mike found painted notes from a previous mechanic that showed the belt had been replaced more recently than I thought. When I changed my brakes this week, he went out of his way to save me $50 on parts. This is the shop you want working on your vehicle, and the antithesis of the problems people have with mechanics.

I am a licensed and experienced automotive technician and CVSE licensed inspector myself. Mike did two inspection jobs for me because i cannot legally inspect my own vehicles and as a professional in the field i think he is a straight forward honest right to the point with reasonable prices and does quality work. Absolutely outstanding service! Mike at Apex always takes the time to speak with you about your vehicles problems and readily shares his knowledge and expertise. He has assisted me in trouble shooting over the phone a few times. This is the only shop I will take my vehicle to (1999 ford e350 super duty). Fast, thorough and reasonably priced. Couple that with Mikes genuine personality and kindness and it puts him in another category! If you want quick, honest and reasonably priced work done on your vehicle, I highly recommend Mike at Apex!

We've had our 2008 car in to Mike a couple of times now, as he overhauled it for winter and fixed long-standing problems.
He is a consummate professional! Polite, friendly, and most importantly, never tried to up-sell us on work! He itemizes everything, goes through the list with us, discusses what's most important to fix first (our timing belt was close to breaking so he advised us to fix that before it broke and wrecked everything else!).

We recommend Mike to all of our Tri-Cities friends and colleagues!

Always lets me know what is important and what can maybe wait a few more months. Reasonably priced as well. All in all Mike is a reliable mechanic and I have no complaints!

No need to search further, I only worry that Mike gets too busy and overwhelmed. Impossible to find an honest mechanic but then there is Mike. He started with my one car and then my second. True honest work will always bring more business! shame to those autoshops in PoCo that tried to scam me in the past!

I ve been going to this shop to fix my car quite a while. I have Camry 2005. It is getting old and I had to fix axel, break, wheel bearing etc... He did great job and car rides like brand new!! I love it! best mechanic in coquitlam area! strongly recommend!
