Horizon Dental Centre

My wife and I just started coming here but so far my experience has been wonderful. I've simply never had the attention from a dentist you get here, never been to a dentist that has cleaned my teeth.

Everyone is friendly, appointments aren't crazy backed up, their hours are nice. Tools are new, place is clean, what more can you ask for? A TV on the roof doesn't make a good dentist.

Excited to go back and see what fillings are like.

I used to have terrible anxiety at the dentist and the entire team made me feel so comfortable that my anxiety is nonexistent at this office. My son is 8 and would not let anyone in his mouth for longer at 2 seconds until he came here. Highly recommend.

Dr Young and the whole team are so amazing, we happily travel from Vancouver Island since we moved out of the lower mainland 8 years ago. They're that good.

Dr Young is not quick to jump to crowns, filings, root canals, etc. unless it's evident and necessary. He shows you what he's referring to and explains everything. He won me over the first time I had a filling done by him where I DID NOT feel the freezing going in. He's so gentle and patient.

I will also call out two hygienists: Chantelle and Lana. Lana is so great with our 5 year old ever since he was 6 months old being so patient and encouraging (also now with our 1 year old!). She's also amazing alongside DR Young assisting with long procedures. Chantelle is so great I feel like I have a brand new mouth after seeing her. She's so happy and bubbly, it is evident she absolutely loves her career which is good because she's great at it.

Bobbie and Sandy cannot be left out as they set the tone of the whole office so accurately upon arrival: friendly, family oriented, trustworthy.

We love horizon dental and while we often get teased about switching to a local dentist, it would take a major event to ever get us to leave them.

I had not visited a dentist in over 12 years before visiting Dr.Young. I am incredibly anxious when going to the dentist because of the many traumatic experiences I had as a child. I still shake and cold sweat at the idea of going to the dentist but literally EVERYONE working there does their absolute best to make you feel comfortable and not judged in any way. I couldnt be more grateful for finding such a fantastic team at Horizon. I will definitely be going here for all my dental needs for as long as I still have teeth! If you feel anxious about going to the dentist I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend giving Horizon a call. Trust me, I don't know anyone who is move anxious about the dentist than I am (I'm almost 30 and still cry in the dentist chair and need my husband to hold my hand! 😂)

I highly recommend Horizon dental. All the staff are amazing!! The office is super clean and well organized. We never have to wait when my boys have appointments. Bobbie and Sandy are quick to reply to emails, whenever there is emergency they take my boys in right away. I can't thank them all enough.

Everyone at Horizon Dental in PoCo is amazing. They are a such a dedicated, friendly, and professional team. My whole family is registered there. The kids and I always receive such a warm welcome and every effort is made to ensure their comfort. I have only positive things to say about this dental practice. Excellence is a standard here. :)

Frount desk staff go beyond what you need to accommodate your needs, the dental team are wonderful and skilled ,gentle and listen to your needs. They stay very close to the suggested prices so it's affordable. And I've never been afraid of dentists but I can actually fall asleep here!

Highly recommend Horizon Dental Centre. Two quality dentists (Dr. Young and Dr. Zeidaks) with an all-star team of hygienists and support staff that have been part of the practice for as long as I have been going there (10+ years). It’s a special place and your teeth will thank you!

Dr Alan Young is the best dentist I have had for the past 25 years! He fixed the problem that have been bothering me for 20 + years and have told every single dentist i have seen. ( I have seen quite a few). Because it doesn't effect the function of the teeth so no one bother to fix it. Dr. Young did without me having to asking him. I was soooo pleased as i basically giving up on telling every dentist about my concerns. Since then i have been a fan and took all of my family members to go see him. He deserves 5 plus stars!

Great place to go if you need a dentist! Dr. Alan Young and Dr. Rota Zeidaks are both great. They really know their stuff and won't recommend anything that is not absolutely needed. The dental hygienists are wonderful and Bobbie and Sandy at the front end are always so friendly and nice to deal with. Just a great clinic all around, can't recommend them enough.

The staff is amazing and very friendly. The entire process from meeting each person to the cleaning, x-rays and consultation with Dr. Young was very thorough. I would highly recommend Horizon Dental.
