Coquitlam Public Library, Poirier Branch

I had very good experience at this library. Surprisingly they have a large selection of titles (compared to Coquitlam centre).
Specially foreign language titles are vast.
Staff are nice and polite.
Convenient reading and computer rooms available.
It is not super crowded and you can be very efficient.
Free parking also available.

I like to come here in the evening and lounge on the chairs with a book or magazine. It's spacious, comfortable and clean.

It is a wonderful space to study and work. Wifi’s good. Just bring your laptop along or if not, they have desktops around for work. The space is very boisterous and comfy. There are so many places to grab a coffee and quick bite around too. Recommend the library highly!

Libraries are one of the best things ever! Really liked that in addition to books, they had dvd, blurays, games for wii, Xbox One, 360, Ps3 and 4, etc, graphic novels, study rooms, a computer room, etc.. Self checkout makes it easy to check out your materials. Plenty of places to sit and read. Brightly lit and quite spacious, as opposed to dark and too cramped. Coffee/hot chocolate vending machine. Probably lots of other features here I've not yet explored.

Good library, nice futurisic washrooms, perfect to take a big dump. Multiple computers with nice acceptable gear, but could be better. Book selection (in my opinion) is very good. You have books for children, to books for adults, you have french books or chinese books, and many english books, the problem is though that i be tryna get a book but its never there like bruh, keep in mind this book was made in 2006, so i dont understand why its that popular bruh

The library has a nice collection of books . It is spacious and has ample space for study.

A really good place for silent studying specially for students. They have mostly all the books and variety of different materials to study from.
Anyone who is complaining about the Wifi should know that they are offering the best wifi here and we are not paying a dime for that.

No peculiar smell, the worker very friendly and excite. I like here very clean and quiet.

This library is the epitome of what a library should be: clean, well-stocked, and managed by helpful staff. There are rooms for meetings that can be booked in advance, as well as a Children's and Teen's section. The computers are unfortunately used most of the time, which can complicate research sessions. I find that there are quite a bit of books here, with slightly more arcane genres, such as manga, that are not very present in other libraries.

Great experience at the library one time we did an ventures meeting it was cool give u guys 5 star rating and boy I was very impressive with how people are nice at the library and they weren't even rude and also I felt like the environment is clean as well just a heads up that the library was nice and clean

I love this place they have silent study area and a reading area also desktop stations, coffee machine, a water fountain and a vending machine. I once lost my purse there, it had cash and my bank cards, came next day and found it all not missing a penny.

Great branch of Coquitlam libraries. Nicer than the main branch in this municipality. Very welcoming to all. And even has coffee for sale!

Prefer Poirier library over Coquitlam city hall library any day. It's easier to read in, the computers are more central, and the business rooms off to the side are awesome to book for meetings and tutoring.

A modest sized library with a huge selection of a variety of titles! Very relaxing atmosphere, I love coming here!
