Amigo Pancake House Restaurant

I appreciate the music playing in the background. The atmosphere definitely gets a shout out from me. Condiments were provided, including water, as that’s the first question that the server asks me once seated. The meal was delightful. Light and fulfilling, Amigo Pancake House can provide an excellent service to you. Highly recommend.

Great pancakes. I don’t even like pancakes but it came with my omelette so I had some. I ended up finishing the pancakes without looking up once. Hands down the best pancakes in town. Beautiful carb angels melting in your mouth in a swirl of buttery syrupy goodness. Also, I don’t know what kind of syrup they use but it’s not as sweet as the usual stuff but adds to the buttery taste. Avoid the table near the back because you’ll have the washroom door banging near your ear but if it’s the only table open just take it and have some pancakes.

I have been meeting my brother from Chilliwack and my aged Mom (who's in a wheelchair) at Amigo once a week for many years and still consider it the best breakfast for miles. Great and fast service. Mom at 95 yrs. old loves the blueberry explosion. She cleans her plate every time. 🤤🤣

Great greasy spoon style breakfast in downtown Poco. Prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. All the staff are nice and the coffees hot.

We usually get their traditional breakfast and a side of blueberry pancakes.

Love their vegan/vegetarian options. Food’s good, prices even better—compliments to the chef and cooks, kudos to the owner for keeping prices low. Amazes us how a single server can do so much even on busy days. Hats off to that super human!

Eggs benedict was delicious, very fast service and pleasant waitress.

Not sure why some people complain about order waiting time. We waited 10 minutes for 2 omelettes and waffles which is ok. Food was good, worth to try and come back. I usually never eat hash browns but in Amigo they’re delicious, crispy and very addictive. You should definitely go and check out this little spot!

An off the beaten path eatery near downtown PoCo that serves up great breakfasts and other lunch fare. Prices are super reasonable, and large serving portions. Bon Appétit!

Great little breakfast place. Serving sizes are fairly large and prepared with care. I had the Mexican omelet which was served steaming hot and came with three fluffy pancakes.

Reasonable prices, not a cheap hole-in-the-wall, but reasonable.

We stumbled on this breakfast place while we were visiting Vancouver and let me tell you. ITS WORTH EVERY BITE! This place is small but mighty in so many ways. The food is amazing, it’s hot, it’s crispy, perfectly cooked and comes with amazing hosts. They are very friendly and make sure they get your order right the first time! We as a group have decided that this is the only breakfast place we will be going to anytime we’re in the city!! Definitely recommend!

Good Food and friendly atmosphere is a MUST. The family friendly prices is a plus. Ordered for takeout for lunch at work also bought my family here, and we live in Coquitlam not poco lol

I cannot believe how inexpensive this place is! The breakfast food is great and the staff are so kind! It's definitely simple and straightforward. There's no iced coffee (my weakness) or fancy drink stuff. But it's delicious and so fairly priced. Note that in the warmer weather, their AC is pretty subpar - but when it cools down, I'll be back!

This was perfect
The pancakes were fluffy and tasted original (their own recipe), service was fast and they kept my coffee mug full
Their sausages are very good - lean but juicy and with the perfect toasted flavour

This is our favourite breakfast spot in town. Very hospitable staff - they are always cheerful and smiling. The service is quick, and the food tastes great every time. Best of all, their prices are very good. The coffee is delicious as well. We will continue to support this local business!

Friendly staff, we were greeted as we entered and told we could sit anywhere. We were also offered a highchair for our baby. My husband and I ordered one of the all day breakfasts 2 eggs, 3 pancakes and we both chose sausage (could have had sausage, ham or bacon). It was so good eggs were perfect I got scrambled my husband got over easy. The sausage was much better than I expected ^-^ and the pancakes were fluffy and soft.

10/10 will go again

Good food. Good service. A little gem we found in PoCo when my boys were playing in a lacrosse tournament.

Great Neighbourhood diner feel to this place. Definitely best breakfast in the area. Fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked bacon. Staff are friendly, food always fresh and hearty. Great takeout as well.
