The Residences At Fremont Village

I love living here. A lot of the reason is the helpful building managers especially Gillian who is always friendly and thinking of the tenants needs. My elderly mother is always full of questions and Gillian is always there for the answers. She knows all the tenants and their dogs name and is quick to say hello. The buildings are always clean and when we had an issue with our garbage new solutions were found. The building is so close to everything and honestly for the majority all the tenants are friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This past December has marked 2 years living at “ The Residences “ in the Fremont village.

Besides being very convenient for highway access, many shops and food. I’m 15 min drive out of Port Moody and Coquitlam.

I’m fortunate to be on the 6th floor with my apartment facing north west. The view is amazing and the sunsets are beautiful. Our building is pet friendly, people friendly and very clean. There is a clean communal gym here, a games room that’s massive…The playground in the middle courtyard is always filled with kids playing.

I’ve had great experiences with both managers Gillian and Natasha. 90% of the time I reach out to Gillian… Gillian is so pleasant… very kind, knowledgeable regarding all the things that come up in the rental building. Gillian always smiles, is complementary and responses back to me with-in 24hrs . If I have a question or concern. I’m really happy living in our building and it when it’s run so effectively and kindly , it makes it that much satisfying to be living here. I’m grateful that both my neighbours are respectful and quiet.

The rent is decent compared to what’s out there and that this building is only 5/6 years old only. I personally don’t have an issue in the summer and heat either. Lots of parking underground if you so desire to rent one.

I have been living here for almost two years and I’m not planning to go away anytime soon. we have everything we need on a walking distance. Nature at the door, the wonderful Pitt River at a 5 min walking distance, very friendly, pet sensitive neighbours and so much more. My dogs are the happiest dogs on earth here and on top of that the management is really good. Gillian is awesome and nice , always with a smile trying to help! Even when she is not at duty!! And Natasa... I can’t properly thank her enough. Since the very first day we came here looking for a place to live she was helpful, resolutive and honest with us. She was so good I couldn’t believe our lucky at first! The way she handles every issue is always very professional, straight to the point and effective. When she is around I have peace of mind and that is priceless. If you have any problem here in the residences go to talk to them, they are GOLD!!

I’d like to comment on the building managers Natasa and Gillian and on Freemont Village Dog pack.

1. Natasa and Gillian are wonderful managers. They’re always so kind helpful and friendly. We have lived here for a year and have had 0 negative interactions with them. All of the interactions we have had with them have been nothing but positive. They also take interest in following up and asking how our dogs are or just how we’re doing in general. As we are leaving to find a bigger space I am sad to go considering how wonderful they have been to us!!

2. I saw the below about Jenna at freemont village dog pack. My partner and I have been using Jenna’s dog walking services for almost a year. Jenna is not located in the building and in her own time drives out to come take the village dogs out. Jenna does not have blonde hair? So the review is super inaccurate. Jenna is a phenomenal dog walker, trainer and DOG LOVER. Our dogs have been ill both internally and externally multiple times over the last year and she takes great care in taking them out, and ensuring their safety and well being. What’s more is that she spends the time giving advice on how I can handle walking them, asks about allergies, health issues and more. Don’t let the comment above fool you. She’s a wonderful person, and all the information they provided is completely inaccurate.

Fremont Village is a place you can call your home, I am living here for about 2 years and the Neiborhood the facilities and the apartments really makes you enjoy living there and I cannot forget is totally pet friendly. The Building Managers are the best, they are totally friendly and always try to help you specially Natasa she is one of the reasons I stay there she is really resourceful and always help me when I need something in addition, she loves pets and pets, and owners love her.

This place is amazing. The managers on site are always pleasant to talk to. Natasa, Gillian and Maureen are great. Moved out to to live with my disabled mom for a year and finally decided to move back in. I’ve never had a unpleasant dealing with management.

On top of that, the other residents are so friendly and welcoming. The best part though of living here, are the building managers Maureen and Natasa. They are so unbelievably helpful, friendly and professional. You won’t regret living here!

Great place to live and excellent onsite management. I can’t say enough good things about Maureen, Morgan and Natasa! Neighbours living in the buildings are super friendly and welcoming. The apartments themselves are really nice and spacious with great features and there are a lot of good amenities around the area!

Brand new, dog friendly, superb location, very close to Pitt River where you can talk a walk nice and easy... Can't complain! :-)

Awesome location and great community

I’ve lived here for 2 years. The convenience of location has kept me here. I’ve been really happy with the units I’ve lived in. Common areas are kept clean and the use of the gym and games room are a plus for sure! Building managers are friendly and approachable, specifically Gillan. I’ve had to text her at all hours and she’s been quick to text back with a solution or answer to any questions or issues I’ve had. My only con is the buildings front doors are very heavy and difficult to pull open.

Lived there for about a year, here are the pros and cons

Pros: Great location, walking distance to shops and Poco trails by the river, that lead to a playground for our little kids. Also next to highway 7B.

Building managers Gillian and Natasha are helpful.

As a apartment with a lots of dogs, the place is kept very clean, beside the dog run where you can smells the dog urine from a distance, but that is kind of what a dog run is for so cannot really complain.

Cons:
walls are very thin, if you have little kid for your sanity request a ground floor unit, or prepare for nom stop complains from downstairs neighbors.

just rent a corner unit

One star for a perfect location and other star goes to Gillian - building caretaker, who always did such a great job!

Minuses:
- no screens on windows which is ridiculous. Lots of bugs in the summer
- thin walls! You can hear just about everything
- parking and storage locker = extra $$$
- Natasa - another building manager - doesn’t have a pleasant attitude

Be ready to lose your damage deposit!!!
- no matter how well you clean before moving out, you still need to hire professional cleaners or Onni will do it for you
- flea inspection is required when moving out if you have pets. Here goes another $200
- they told us over the phone “Good luck getting your damage deposit back” which is very unprofessional

Not a bad place but movers beware. Long hallways and 3 hr limit to move. This is unacceptable almost like neo mazi

The place itself is convenient because of the location. The managers are really good. But we had a terrible experience with haunting with 2 1/2 year-old son. He was tormented. We have video recordings. We left after one year of tenancy. This property is on Pickton farms siftings. I would never recommend anyone with a small child to live on this property.
