This was a family trip for my husband’s 60th birthday. 4 adult children. Right from the start we were pleasantly surprised as we didn’t have any preconceived ideas of what the place was like and had read a few bad reviews. The whole stay from the reception, rooms, dinner and service was beyond our expectations. Staff was so friendly and always asking if we were enjoying our stay. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet. We were blessed with excellent weather to take in many of the activities. The meals were excellent and part of our package. A few items on the menu were a bit extra from our package if you choose those add on. Great selection of drinks also a good non-alcoholic beer. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We heard about this resort from.my daughter who went there in the summer a few years ago. She loved it and so did we. It is Nov 14th and we're headed back to Toronto after a wonderful 3 day stay. Great staff, incredible gourmet cuisine, and good sized, well laid out suites (we had a 1 bedroom). We're already planning a Spring or Summer trip here; and for sure, a fall visit to see the colours.

Resort is about 1 hr away from Montreal. Very quiet area. We have stayed here before and will visit again in late June

Went for my 17th wedding anniversary. Quebec is so beautiful. The people are so nice and helpful. The views are so nice as we went when the leaves were changing. Rooms clean and big. There are tons of things to do around. Only 15 to 20 min drive to town to get things. Everything was very good.

Great place. We came here with our Wyndham timeshare. Not like many of the timeshares. A bit more rustic, but in a great way. We did do the keep tours right on site! So fun.
Swimming, games, mini golf all right on site. It rained a lot for us. Was nice to have free movie rentals to get us through the evening.

Great experience in the woods of Quebec. Super friendly folks and cuisine in the restaurant to die for! Maybe the rooms are a touch dated but their clean and comfy. From water sports to 4 wheeler and jeep rentals there's always something to do. Going in winter? There must be a dozen ski areas in the immediate area. Did I mention the fantastic friendly staff? Don't hesitate on this one!

Thank you for all the hospitality that was shown to us! From the moment we got there at the reception desk to the end of our stay The food was fantastic and the wait staff was exceptional. There is not enough ways I can thank everyone! We hope to see you again the next I come up and visit my family.

This is the second year my family has come to this resort, and the FIRST time we wanted to return somewhere so badly we inquired about booking the day after we left last year. The staff are so wonderful, the offerings for the whole family for dry and wet activities are wide and at no extra charge, and the options for different accommodations were great for our extended family group. We got mostly comfort plus rooms but one condo or chalet so we had a central gathering space with a kitchen. It was perfect! Keep in mind the comfort plus rooms are a bit dimly lit and seem like a dated decor, but it is really a perfect option for a simple stay. The staff are also very helpful if you need something. I do recommend however bringing all your own toiletries as it's very limited, including soaps (they do provide dish soap and detergent for the ones with kitchens).

They have trails with great views, kayaks and canoeing, axe throwing (although now they are little ones), pickle ball (NEW!), tennis and more.
There is sometimes some difficulty when booking with a language barrier as most staff at the resort primarily speak French but there is enough English understanding or someone on staff who speaks English who can help.

Beautiful place for staying and enjoying the beauty of St Hypolite.
The rooms are very good sized and the views to the lake are awesome.
I'd recommend to come during the summer. Winter is fine, but they don't take enough care of the place by removing the snow or throwing salt, so that makes it harder to go anywhere.
This is the second time I stay here and I can't help loving it

My partner and I have vacationed here twice in the winter. We love this resort.
We enjoyed outdoor activities like cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding.
We also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa.
We visited the wine cellar and did a wine tasting.
Their restaurant is also great. We got the 3 course table d’hôte meal which was delicious. Many of the waiters are also sommeliers, so we got a bottle of wine that paired nicely with our meal. The service is fantastic.
And all of this was very reasonably priced.
In addition, it’s not too far from Montreal.
We will be back and we would highly recommend this resort to others.

I spent a few days in January, and I liked the place in several areas, the seclusion, the purity of air and and the serine environment...
It's a picture perfect of quietness and serenity. There are tons of activities during the spring/summer time, and I'll have to come over here to check them out.
Lastly, their virgin pina colada smoothie is wonderful 👏🏻
The service is great. If you have any issues, the service people are within minutes at your front step, even better than Hilton!
The Studio I got had all the amenities you would want, a fridge, microwave, coffee make, kettle for heating water, utensils, dishes, cups and mugs and a pull up sofa too!. The shower is hot and strong!
I highly recommend the place!

Where do I start… I would say that this hidden gem an hour outside Montréal is the perfect get away for couples or families.

The restaurant was 10/10 best food and service I’ve had in years! Shout out to servers Étienne and Felix! They were very friendly and professional. Even the poolside snack bar was great and reasonably priced.

The room was a little old looking but it ads to the country charm cabin vibe. The bed was very comfortable and the room came with a mini fridge which is perfect for snacks and cold drinks.

Lastly, I was very impressed with how many activities there were. You will not be bored that’s for sure.

I would recommend bringing cushions for the beach chairs as they are wooden.

I can’t wait to go back! I think I’ll stay more than 2 nights.

Very beautiful location, enjoyed the water crafts on a non-motorized lake.
Many hiking trails, mostly very well marked, but some clean up is necessary after they had a severe storm a couple weeks prior.

Interacted daily with very friendly, fully bilingual staff.

Would definitely return to this location sometime in the future.

Quaint rustic property on a lake. Impeccable customer service. Spa massage was heavenly. Must have Felix show you the wine cellar and pair wines with dinner at the restaurant which serves incredible food. Would definitely stay again!

Such a special place !

I love spending few days at the Auberge, wether it is for a romantic getaway, family time or some alone time. There are some activities for everyone in summer and winter (swimming pool, spa, hikes ...).

The place is so peaceful and beautiful, the staff is always so nice and the restaurant is amazing. This place never disappoints and I would recommend highly recommend.

We arrived very late at night and were let in by security. The initial chalet we were in had some issues. Within literally moments of posting about them I had a knock on the door to try to correct the issues. Customer service is beyond excellent. When they realized the issues would take some time to repair, they moved us to a different location which was much appreciated. Breakfast at the restaurant was one of the best I’ve ever had. Nothing beats kind, attentive customer service. We are very pleased. Highly recommend.

Such a great relaxing resort. They have a wonderful set up for families and individuals looking for a bit of nature relaxation with kayaks, canoes and paddleboards available for free. They also have a tennis court (with rackets available for free!) and mini putt. Make sure to go early to reserve a tennis time or indoor pool time. All other activities can only be used as first come first served, but we never found an issue accessing items.

Overall a wonderful stay!

This place is our family's out of town retreat. Nice pool and hot sauna. They also have hot sauna outside with fee.
RMT is also available but need to book ahead...very nice environment, friendly staffs. Outside views great and plenty of outdoors things to do if you enjoy outdoor. Otherwise just sit inside and relax bring your foods to cook.

I will never be able to rate this place high enough! To start, pick any season to come and the views will be both breathtaking and relaxing. We came in winter and got a taste of a snowstorm, making for incredible icy lake views.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and after the snow they already had the roads cleared and sanded before breakfast

Speaking of breakfast- you must eat here! The dinner and breakfast offer is fantastic québécois cuisine and the view of the lake makes it all worth it.

Highly recommended. Fantastic staff. Plenty of activities; fun for all ages. You won't get tired from all the activities available and they have a great restaurant on site to start or to finish up the day! 🙏
