These guys know bikes. Their expertise in this area of Montreal is unmatched. They are much more skilled and knowledgeable than many of the other bike stores around (many of which hire young, part-time students who are still learning and have high turnover).

We walked in just to browse after months of looking for new bikes. One hour later we walked out with two orders for custom-built bikes using secondhand parts (not an easy feat for my husband who is 6'3"). We got exactly what we wanted for an amazing price and the bikes were ready the next day, tuned up perfectly. Thank you!!

The best bicycle store I have ever visited. I got my mountain bike and hybrid bike from here. They also have complete accessories, I got watter bottle, helmet, bicycle lamps, winter tires and locks from here too. Whenever my bikes need maintenance, this is my go-to store. The service is straightforward and no fuss. The owner is very knowledgeable and skillful. I highly recommend this store.

Edit 2024: These guys still rock and have more stock of parts than any other shop I've found on the city.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I came in with a minor issue on my bike and they addressed it immediately. I’m used to bike mechanics telling me to make an appointment weeks later. But at this shop they make time, it helps that they have 3 mechanics working full tilt.

Excellent service! These are good ole boys so I dont expect to be held by the hand when I use there services. I have had all my bike needs taken care of by them for years and I will continue to go to them. 12 hours before a bike race when I broke my brake handle they were able to take me and get it fixed within 10 minutes.

Good service, came in with a flat tire and the guy working told me my break pads were worn and should be replaced, oiled my chain for free and told me what I'd need to repair in the future. Cost much less than expected and my bike has not felt better ever.

I got a tune up and wheel change done here after some spokes on my bike wheel started coming off. My bike was immediately accepted and was looked at. I was given an estimate within 5 minutes of walking in. My bike was fixed and ready for the next evening. Pleasant and fast service. Prices were excellent as well! I would highly recommend this bike shop.

So friendly! I’m new to biking and bought myself a new bike seat as the existing one with the bike was hurting me on long rides. I installed it a bit incorrectly and they helped me get it properly aligned and gave me tips on bike seat height and pedalling! :) The guy was really friendly and welcoming. I went to another bike shop before, but that one made me feel like i was not cool enough to bike, and they overcharged me for brake replacement. Action Cycle Sports, based on my first visit, has a totally opposite vibe. I will be coming here more for my bike needs! Thank you!!

Great service and reasonable prices. I have returned to this shop for a few years now for bicycle repairs because I find they are very friendly and fair. For example, they recently replaced a punctured inner tube and when it got flat again soon after, the owner took the time to carefully look and find the piece of glass stuck in my tire and replace my inner tube again for free.

I had a flat nearby and he didn’t just fix the issue but also diagnosed the underlying cause. None of the usual snootiness that one gets from a bike shop - just quick and inexpensive service.

The air chamber of my bicycle was changed in a few minutes. Excellent service, very efficient. Merci!

This is an awesome place to look for if you're bike's owner. I went by for information and got mi bike fixed, and even gave me tips and tricks to take care of my bike.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I'll definitely bookmark this place.

In 18 months, 6 bike shops and almost 800$ in tune ups and ajustments i was extremely depressed not having a fraction of my money's worth plus what i have invested in upgrades ,made no sense how the bike was running(5 bike shops couldnt ajust a brand new drivetrain. These two gentlemens did the job in 45 minutes añd 45 $. They never tried to "upsale" me, third visit and always they find a cheap way to fix my bike.They will be my 1st choice from now on.
