It's really cool how nature lead to the odd location of this giant rock. It's fascinating looking at the distance and seeing the rockies and imagining how this rock moved all the way from there to here.

There's public washrooms here. The path is wheelchair friendly.

Great place makes you wonder where did these giant rocks came from. The whole area is quite scenic sorrounded by open feilds and hills and mountains. I have attached images and video with details on how did these two big rocks came in middle of nowhere. Kids had fun chassing those ground moles. The fields near by had horses and it was great. There is ample parking, washrooms and garbage bins. Even accessible wheelchair ramps. This is just a few mins from Okotoks and its a must visit spot. Follow me for more reviews.

I have been here before but on this day I took my friend who was visiting from Toronto and she'd never heard of an erratic. It was great visiting again.

This place is just situated at a vally and looks like this rocks are treated as sacred by first nation but I have seen people climbing the rock and taking selfies which can pose serious risk.
DO NOT LOCK MEN'S TOILET DOOR AT PARKING AREA, THE LOCK DOES NOT OPEN THE DOOR FROM INSIDE. WE HAD A HARD TIME TO OPEN THE DOOR.

Beautiful, sceneic open place just a short distance from the small town Okotoks. Grab a snack, arrive here, and enjoy the peaceful place. This is a geological landmark and a spiritually signifcant place for the natives.

Sunset is an amazing time to visit this UNESCO site. Not only are there fewer people, which tends to lead to more wildlife, but the colours are phenomenal!

As a climber, this was definitely on my list to visit. Worth it. Bring ur climbing shoes and chalk, and if u have a pad, you can spend a good couple hours here.

Small walk; beautiful views; unique history. It’s a nice spot for a quick walk, or a picnic. Fun to watch the gophers. Has a ramp, so stroller/wheelchair friendly.

Very cool spot! It doesn't take long to explore but I think it's worth stopping at especially if you are in the area. There was also a ton of Prairie Dogs roaming around which was very exciting.

Such an interesting place to visit. If you come to Alberta you should make a point of going here. Learn about the history. A short drive from Okotoks. Well worth it.

Really nothing to hike or do other than just see this rock. But relaxing. Just chill and enjoy nature.

Good pit stop place. Nice short walk around an impressive rock which seems very out of place at first, until you read the fascinating story of how it arrived from the Jasper area thousands of years ago. Washrooms are clean.
