The bakers here are so pleasant and helpful! I ordered the Mother's Day box set and was not at all disappointed! Neither were mom and grandma. The care and love put into their products is overwhelming!! The store is so pretty inside. Hoping to come back to try their ready to go cupcakes another time!

Delicious cupcakes and amazing service! Enjoyed the Mint Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate cupcakes. They had a great frosting to cake ratio, and the frostings were flavourful and not cloyingly sweet like some places. The chocolate cake was moist and very lovely. The lady attending the counter was very sweet and courteous and made it an all-round great first experience. A lovely place to grab a sweet treat!

I ordered 4 dozen custom cupcakes to be ready for pick up within 48 hours and these amazing ladies made sure my every wish in regard to size, colour, and taste was followed. Thanks so much, terrific service!

I ordered a custom Vasectomy Cake for my husband as a fun way to honour a big decision, and Sweet Temptations knocked it out of the park! I surprised him with it and he thought it was absolutely hilarious. The design elements and colours they added to the cake were gorgeous and it was so delicious! I highly recommend their house-made Salted Caramel Sauce, and will be ordering more celebration cakes from them in the future. Thanks Angela & Team!

This place is one of the most amazing places on earth. Not only do they do special orders for your special events like birthdays, weddings, retirements and more. But you can also walk in and buy the most amazing sweet treats for dinner. If you have not tried their cupcakes yet... You are in for a treat. They have a ton of great flavour combinations and something for everyone's pallet. The best part is buying 1, 6 or a dozen sweet treats on the go to spoil the family.

I ordered a funny custom cake and it turned out to be superb!! I gave them the picture of how I want and even without fondant it came out perfecttt! I am new to Guelph and this place will be now go to for my household.

I ordered a 6” tree stump woodland themed cake for my husbands birthday. They added gorgeous realistic mushrooms and moss. The gnomes were added by me for a more personal touch for my husbands special day. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Thank you!!

Super happy with the custom cake for my son's 1st birthday. Fun design for this fairytale theme ("The Enormous Turnip"), with lots of work on details. It was very tasty. The family loved it.

I have purchased Sweet Temptations cupcakes several times for personal occasions - they are now our go-to for birthday parties - as well as worked with them to participate in large charity fundraising events. Each and every time I have loved the cupcakes and the service. We particularly enjoy the variety of flavours available at any given time. We really love the fact that the gluten-free cupcakes are as good as the "regular" ones!

As a lifelong Guelph resident and someone who lives right around the corner from the shop, I love supporting this independent small business!

Love, love, love this bakery! I have always bought cakes/cupcakes for my kids birthdays here and they are the best. Beautiful and delicious! They can make whatever design my kids dream up! I tried their brioche donuts in the spring and YUM! Even better than the cupcakes and I didn’t think that was possible. Storefront is beautiful and staff are super friendly!

My friend gave me cupcakes for my birthday and they were amazing! Not too sweet unlike most deserts. The cream was delicious and the cake light and moist. Not the least bit stale as the rude customer in front of my friend said! He's just a Karen! I loved it!

Omg our experience was excellent! We got cupcakes for my husband's birthday and they were delicious. Got a few vegan gluten free ones as well and I kind of preferred them they were so good!

Delicious! We tried one vegan/gluten free and one regular cupcake and both were great! The vegan/gluten free chocolate was SO moist - amazing texture, and the frosting smells and tastes like hot chocolate. Will definitely be back for more goodies!

My dentist (Bisson Dentistry) provides a half dozen cupcakes from here. I am SO happy I went to try them out. These cupcakes are fresh, moist and super tasty. The last few places I’ve tried were dry and stale tasting but these were amazing. I love the option of vegan gluten free for my friends and daughters friends who need this.

Sweet Temptations has been my favorite bakery from the very first bite. It is a relief to know a place you can trust in always providing the most delicious treats for every special occasion (or regular day craving). The quality and taste is incomparable. They also continue to experiment and evolve their skills so that they always have something new and exciting. If you are stopping in for cupcakes (which you MUST), make sure you pick up some brioche donuts! Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and kind. You get a sense of the passion they have for the work they do! We are so lucky to have this gem in Guelph.

I have loved Sweet Temptations for years, but I find the cupcakes are even better under the new ownership. My favorites are Vanilla and Cookies & Cream. I’m also in love with their donuts. I had some strawberry ones in the spring that were to die for.

I've ordered a dozen cupcakes for a couple of occasions in 2021. The variety is always very good, and the little extras like cookies, syrup, nuts and sprinkles are really fun. Prices are comparable to other bakeries. This should go without saying but these cupcakes are in a different league from grocery store fluff. The only problem is the cupcakes are top-heavy and often fall over in the box and make a mess, even if I think I've been careful. But even if they're upside-down they taste great. I've never tried their donuts.

I had a short but extremely pleasant experience at Sweet Temptations. I didn't catch her name but it was this past Saturday. I apologized profusely upon entering as I stepped in at the last minute they were open - I really wanted to get a last minute cupcake for my mom's birthday as she had mentioned how much she wanted to try this place. The girl was so patient and friendly, told me to take my time, and overall made my quick stop very memorable!! I know lots of of people would be annoyed to help a customer when they're about to close like this, so it's rare to find such patient and kind workers!! And on top of it all, my mom LOOOVED the rocky road cupcake! :)
