Highly recommend! If I could do 10 stars I would!! All of the hygienists and dental assistants are so kind and gentle, the front receptionists are so welcoming and nice, and the dentists are so great with kids and are incredibly knowledgeable. My boys just got their first cavities filled and the whole experience was so smooth and if I dare say, fun! Dr. Bhatt has a wonderful way of explaining all of her tools to kids and helps make them feel at ease. Dr. Johal has created an amazing clinic that treats the whole person and I have learned so much from her about tongue ties, mouth breathing and posture. She is so passionate about what she does. It’s so refreshing to see a dentist who cares about your whole health from your head to your toes!

The best dental office around. Period. Dr. Johal studies the latest advancements in dental care and brings that knowledge to her patients. Not only that, all of the staff is incredibly gentle and caring with children. Highly recommend!

Dr. Johal and her team are caring and very comprehensive. My son and I saw Mandeep for some orthodontic treatment. They get to the root cause of crooked teeth and misalignment of the jaw rather than pulling teeth and purely cosmetic orthodontics.
I also had my tongue tie released and have found great relief in chronic neck pain I was experiencing. Highly recommend Dr. Johal and her team.

I saw Abby and Dr. Johal for my 5 month old baby. I went in for a tongue tie consultation and I left feeling like I had made the right choice going there. For months I have tried to find someone that took my concerns seriously and both Abby and Dr. Johal did. They both were amazing at going over everything with us and they both were not trying to push any services on us. In fact, they were so honest that they told me and my husband to focus on some other things before we even do anything for my sons tongue tie. As a mother who has been struggling to find someone to help me feel better about all this, both Abby and Dr. Johal did that. I would highly recommend paying them a visit if you’re going through something thing similar to this.

Dr. Johal was absolutely amazing. She saw my 6 week old son for his tongue tie release procedure and was so great! She made us feel very comfortable and explained what she was going to do and what we needed to continue doing on our end. She was so great with our son and you could tell he felt very comfortable with her too. The office lactation consultant we saw was Abby and she was also just so amazing and eased any concerns I had. The follow up was great as well and went so smoothly. It made a worlds of difference after the procedure and helped my son with latching, gas and fussiness. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing to get this procedure. Thank you to the amazing team!

Dr. Johal’s holistic approach to dentistry is rare, and effective. I have a number of serious dental issues and the fact that she looks at the whole body has really helped. In addition, I have high anxiety about visiting the dentist. The team is incredibly supportive. It makes a difference. Highly recommend Family Dental Centre.

I wouldn't even know where to begin because they have been that good to me as well as my family and friends. I met Dr. Johal just over 2 yrs ago when I was in a really poor mental, emotional, physical, and personal low regarding my previous dental care. I really believed there was no hope. I had seen over 15 dentist in a 20 yr span never seemed to help or get me to where my health wasn't a concern. She showed me there are dentist that actually care about their patience. She has given me my teeth back but most important my self-esteem. She introduced me to paradontal surgeon who works with her office who is also lovely and assisted when needed. She is always honest and genuinely cares. Always checks in and follows up with me when needed. This dental office is truly one of a kind because her staff is just as caring and super fun to be arpund it's not like any other dental office I've been too they truly feel like family. I know several people and friends that feel the exact same way. My 3 children adore her and the staff. EVERYTIME I leave their office I feel good. Honestly I don't know where I'd be today if I had not met her and her staff.

Dr. Johal is the BEST dentist our family has ever had! No comparison. Firstly, her passion for her work shines through at every appointment - I've never seen a dentist as excited for their patient's progress (ortho work) as her - she truly loves what she does and it's very evident. She is warm, kind, caring, informative and so upbeat - we really enjoy our visits.

Her expertise has saved us from unnecessary dental work that was recommended by other dentists, in one case saving a perfectly good tooth from being pulled! Her holistic approach to dentistry is the gold standard that I wish all dentists provided. She truly treats the whole patient, looking at all related factors, not just your teeth (posture, neck pain, jaw development, airway, etc.).

Her entire team is amazing to deal with - warm, welcoming, enthusiastic - you truly feel like you have her team in your corner cheering you on!

If you're considering a visit with Dr. Johal, you won't be disappointed! We drive from Toronto and she is absolutely worth the two hour round trip drive (monthly!).

Great Zoom call with Dr. Mandeep Johal, was very knowledgeable regarding open mouth breathing. Couldn’t find anyone locally who specialized in this and was so happy I came across her IG page. Also very helpful blogs sent through email related to products. 10/10 recommend meeting with her as not only is she knowledgeable but was very kind! Wish I lived in Guelph to see her regularly.

Doctor Johal and her team are amazing! We were referred to her for a tongue tie release for our daughter who was 2 months old at the time of our first appointment. They were so understanding and empathetic to what we were dealing with at the time. They felt that her palate was too sensitive to do the tongue tie release right away so they gave us some exercises to do with her for a few weeks before we came back, but kept in communication with us the whole time to see how we were doing and offer support. When we got the actual release done, it went so smoothly and pain-free that she actually came out of the procedure smiling. We are so thankful that we were referred here and although it was a bit of a drive for us, it was worth it every time!

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Johal and her team! My daughter’s pediatric chiro referred us for tongue tie and she had her tongue and lip ties released at 5 weeks old. The lactation consultants were so lovely and supportive and Dr. Johal explained the procedure thoroughly. I firmly believe that for us, the release was the reason my baby and I have gone on to have the successful breastfeeding experience I had hoped for.

Fast forward 5 months and Dr. Johal released my own tongue tie that had gone undiagnosed for 34 years! Again, just an amazingly calm and encouraging experience. The procedure was less painful than I anticipated and I felt some IMMEDIATE relief from a lifetime of chronic tension. Excited to see how much more improvement comes with continued myotherapy and as my body gets used to not being tongue tied anymore!

An amazing supportive clinic with staff who are friendly and genuinely caring. I'm in my 50s and recently learned I'd been living my entire life with a tongue tie. Dr. Johal released mine about 3 weeks ago and I'm still marvelling at the difference it's made in my life: I can nearly touch my toes, my forearm tension is gone, there are lots of subtle changes I'm still processing. This is important work on so many levels. Thank you very much!

Nothing but great things to say about the new patient experience here. Everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming, but special shout out to Fae (sorry in advance for probably misspelling that!) for the most pleasant hygienist experience I've ever received. Examination was thorough, cleaning was relatively painless. I'm thrilled to have found this practice and look forward to returning.

The entire team at Family Dental Centre are welcoming, engaging, thorough and patient. Dr. Johal is a very skilled clinician. And the front end team is efficient, responsive and very organized. They have a whole-body approach which doesn't simply narrow in on dental concerns, but make recommendations aimed at improving airway health and overall longevity. Our family has had experience with tongue and lip tie releases, myofunctional therapy with Shannon Barcic, lactation consulting with Abby Mackenzie, regular dental cleanings/check ups and emergency dental services. Their team interacts with my young children at an age-appropriate level which has turned going to the dentist something they look forward to. 10/10 recommend for both adults and children.

Dr. Johal and her team are amazing. I took my daughter in with jaw issues and it turned out she and I were both tongue tied. I have suffered with back, neck and headaches for years and thought it was because I sit at a desk all day. After discussing the benefits of tongue tie release surgery with Dr. Johal, we moved forward with the procedure. The night following the surgery, I had the BEST sleep ever in many years. I did not wake up in pain from my back and I have felt fantastic ever since. I will confess I was very reluctant at first, but I am an absolute true believer now. Shannon was fantastic during the myo-functional therapy sessions and was willing and able to answer all questions. Dr. Johal provided her own personal cell number in case anything came up over the weekend after surgery and when I texted, three times, she answered right away. What fantastic care from her and her entire team. The front office staff were also so friendly and go the extra mile to help out. I would highly recommend Dr. Johal and her team.

Dr. Gabi is an excellent dentist. The clinic is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Gabi is very skilled and made my dental procedure easy and comfortable. She was patient, listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Gabi is very gentle and the entire process was smooth and pain free. With having recently moved to the surrounding Guelph area, I’d been looking to transfer to a new family dental office. I chose this practice purely based off of google reviews and I can personally attest that they fall nothing short of true. The entire team is wonderful and Dr. Johal is a very well rounded, out of the box professional. During an initial assessment appointment she was even able to point out several things unrelated to dental concerns that would flown under the radar if left to my “eye”. I was very impressed with her ability to see through an alternate lens.
Most recently, my 3 year old son went in for a couple of enamel based cavities and the tech was incredible. She showed him all the different tools she was going to use and let him test out them out as well. Brilliant approach to dealing with little first time dentist goers!

My one month old went here to have a tongue and lip tie released, and Dr. Johal was very thorough and actually discovered two more additional buckle ties in her mouth. Dr. Johal and her team were incredibly helpful, compassionate, friendly, and patient with me as a new mom. They took time to answer all our questions and explain everything clearly for us. Since having the four ties released, breastfeeding is much easier and less painful. My daughter is able to feed much more quickly and efficiently. I actually anticipate going to my dental appointment because the incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient staff! I am always welcomed with such a warm greeting, any nerves I get from dental visits just melt away. The admin staff, dental hygienists, Dr. Johal, and Shannon for myofunctional therapy are all such a lovely team of people who truly care for your well-being and dental health. They helped me understand my teeth and possible changes now that is a decade after my braces/ orthodontic
