JYSK Guelph - Pergola Commons

This is my new favourite reason to drive to Guelph’s south end : the friendly and spacious Jysk store . I like that the store is set up so it’s easy to get around and it’s bright .
The customer service is excellent! Saturday I went in and asked Alex about the zero gravity lawn chair if it came in different colours .There weren’t any showing online or in store . The assistant manager Ann-Marie offered to phone a London store for me and they have one in the colour I want ! I’m so thrilled with the service .
Today , I went in to purchase a headboard . It wasn’t in stock but Shaquille checked their deliveries and the colour I want is coming . I paid for it and am so excited to be sprucing my home. Jysk has good prices , quality , colours I love and best of all excellent customer service . Five star ⭐ team all the way .

Such great customer service at the Guelph Store!!

I was in a few times looking at a specific carpet. When I inquired about the one I was after it was out of stock. "Joyce" very nicely offered to check the inventory and when it wouldnt be in for a couple more weeks called a found it at another store. She said she would pick it up as she lives around the corner from this store!! Talk about going "above and beyond" for your customers!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Alex was very helpful finding an item and getting the best price. Lots of choices for pillows, mattress toppers, sheets, and your best source for stuffed unicorn door stoppers.

This place is amazing! You can furnish and decorate every room in your house at affordable prices! Always great quality and selections! Staff are always friendly and helpful. I have found some very unique decor that I didn't even know I wanted or needed until I saw it there. Always great finds! Very happy with Jysk in Pergola Commons. Joyce and Amelia were unprecedented ladies. the atmosphere in jysk was entirely lit up by them, and their cadence allowed my partner and i to find the right comforters for our bed! Definitely would recommend to ANYONE interested in fine service.

We were in looking to purchase patio furniture on Sat 03/09-24 and were taken very good care of by Kim. She answered all of our questions and the entire process went very well. She arranged with Jamal to have both the patio furniture and a new gizebo ready at the pickup door the following morning . As promised all the pieces were ready and again all went very smooth. These two did a fine job and really know the meaning of customer service
JYSKshould be very proud to have these fine young people representing them on the front lines.

JYSK is like a Walmart, dollar store, and IKEA had a baby. It’s reminiscent of bed Bath and beyond, and offers a variety of discounted goods. I’ve been into this location about a dozen times, and I find it a little bit confusing, as it’s a wraparound store. One thing that I found kind of interesting is that they didn’t sell lightbulbs, except for the specific lights that they sell. Overall, if you’re looking for a great deal on some home furnishings, or home decor, this is a great location to check out.

We live in a time when good customer service is the exception and not the rule....not the case at this store. We were helped tonight by Alex...bought a bed and a bunch of extras. He brought it out to the car and helped load it in our car
I hope his boss sees this....this guy is the real deal

We were shopping for a duvet for my daughter. Store manager Ann-Marie was beyond helpful. She offered to pick up the item from Kitchener location and bring it to Guelph so we didn’t have to drive there. She’s very professional and helpful. Thank you Ann-Marie for superior customer service.

Love this jysk location!! They never failed me! Great stuff, especially the manager that helped us in finding our office desk, they also have good quality home decors, beddings,etc!!! Small but very great with their selections ! I love their variety for towels,bedsheets and backyard things!

Nice selection, and astoundingly good customer service!

I went here looking for a new office chair. They had a good selection to choose from, and I found one I liked. I made a note of it and then checked some other stores in the following week.

I ended up coming back for the chair, and to my pleasant surprise it had been put on sale! -which made my decision really easy.

It was about a week before I opened it up, and I found that there was a piece with a couple of cracks. I phoned JYSK and spoke to Amelia. Amelia was able to determine that the cracked pieces were just cosmetic, but offered to replace them anyway. Since they were only cosmetic, I decided not to bother going back.

When I assembled the chair I noticed that the back was crooked. I double-checked that I had correctly followed the assembly instructions (which were very simple), and couldn't find any way to solve the issue. I phoned the store and spoke with Amelia again, and she offered to replace the chair and give store credit, or to come deliver a new one to me and exchange it for the crooked one.

As I lack my own vehicle, I jumped at this offer. I made arrangements with Amelia for a time when I would be home to receive the new chair. Amelia built and delivered the chair to my home, with the assistance of another employee; Alex.

They were both incredibly kind, and JYSK treated me extremely well throughout this entire process.

I don't think I've ever had a better customer service experience in my life.

I needed to purchase a bed and mattress for my daughter, and thank goodness Ann-Marie was working. She was so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and gave us some really good advice. I had to give her a shout out. Thanks again Ann-Marie for your help with our purchase. Our daughter loves her new bed!
