Niagara Falls Police Department

I called an officer out to my building shortly after buying a place in NF. There was an issue with a neighbor tampering with my car, and the officer was extrememly patient, empatheic, and professional. She spent upwards of a half hour talking with me, the property management staff, and reviewing video footage during the course of her investigation. I have tremendous respect for her, and think she is a strong example of the protect and serve ethos. My only regret is that I don't remember her name so I couldn't send her a thank you card. So, thank you NFPD!!

My husband and I came to visit Niagara Falls and couldn’t find a place to park our truck and trailer. I went to the police department and they allowed us to park out front of their building in a parking lot. Thank you for your hospitality!

We were visiting from Ohio and my granson fell and hit his head on July 12. The police officer was very kind and stayed with us even when the paramedics/firefighters arrived. He escorted us to the ER. I wish we could remember his name to thank him.

Just had a nuicence call at my house 6 cop cars surrounding the house...the officers that came to the door were very polite and courteous..nfpd has had some bad rep but five stars to these officers for handling this professionally and courteously....

I have had good experience with the NFPD, but why is there no public notice on incidents, or calls? Isn't there is a Facebook page? It would be nice to see what is going on and if an incident has already been called in.

My family and I got assaulted at 6:05am. We called the police for help. It’s been 2 hours, and we’ve made two phone calls to the police station and they still haven’t showed up and I’m sure they never will.

Must say that the officers I dealt with today were two of the most immature and condescending human beings I have ever met in my entire life. Absolutely disrespectful and offered no help in reclaiming stolen property. Instead of trying to help calm a situation they find the need put down the people they are supposed to serve. This isn't the first time I've had an experience like this. Needless to say the police in this city offer no help and have a superiority complex that is almost too baffling to comprehend. The city should be embarrassed for hiring such disrespectful and antagonizing individuals This isn't a knock on police officers but just a plea that the city reevaluates its police force and find officers who have a little bit of empathy. Get your act together NFPD and stop with the online theft report thing. That defeats the purpose of even calling the police in the first place.

The guy I was living with for 2 months kept my property.....he told me he wont give me my stuff unless I paid him 50 dollars.....the cops told me they cant do anything cuz i didnt see him take it....but he admitted it to me...he will not answer the door when the cops come so they brush it off and ignore it

If someone in your family is murdered,and I hope you never have to deal with that, they don't work the case. They don't go out of their way,they don't call back. They just don't care.

i got robbed at my old house and knew who robbed me becuase i could see my stuff in their apartment and the cops put no suspect on the report.Worst cops ever!

My brother was assaulted today at 6:10 and they never showed up. These cops aren't worth it.
