Fry Daddy's Fish & Chips Restaurant

Enjoyed a lovely pan fried haddock meal on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon! The food was delicious, lightly seasoned french fries and a carrot and turnip butternut squash Mash, coleslaw, tartar sauce what more could you ask for! Service was great oh, lots of free parking. Although we like to park a couple of blocks away Along the street again for free oh, and have a walk through the quaint little town. We definitely recommend!

When there is a Doggy Deck with water and biscuits, there is nothing not to love! The food was over the top delish! Have the Sticky Cheeseburger. Amazing service and so beautiful to sit outside in the beautiful Nova Scotia sun and air. Aces!!

We've been here multiple times when visiting Windsor and have enjoyed our meals every time. They have a good menu, a loyal customer base, and super friendly and attentive staff. They even serve what I consider to be really cool meals. They add some individuality to each dish. This time, we had a simple breakfast, but the food was well prepared and arrived really fast. One of the other things I love about this restaurant is that is located in what used to be an old gas station garage. They still have the loading bay garage doors for incoming cars that now lead onto their beautiful patio and they open them in the summer time for a wonderful atmosphere. Has that old-fashioned atmosphere in a good way. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent, unique food choices and very friendly staff. I had the mozzarella sticks and PEI nachos, and both were fantastic.

There's lots of room indoors and out, and service was really fast. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Great atmosphere. The food was enjoyable and filling. Recommend the Fried Pickles, surprisingly delicious, if you haven't tried them before, do so. Hoping to head back soon.

Stumbled upon this place by fluke. The fish tacos caught my eye and I was blown away by them. The size of the chunks of fish was crazy and the sauce was incredible. I can't wait to come back for more!

So so yummy! The Apple pie milkshake before dinner was a bad idea, only because we were too full for our meal!! Drove from Ontario for vacation and this was a highlight! Great food at excellent prices!

I don't usually provide many reviews on many places, however this place deserves my time! After a long day of racing we were starving. Not being from the area, we Googled places to eat near by and at 8:35 pm we called Fry Daddys to see if they would serve 8 people if we arrived in 10 minutes and they were more than willing to accommodate us even though they were supposed to close at 9pm. Not only
was the service over the top, the food was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend this place and we will most definitely be returning in the future. To the staff that was there last night...thank you so much for your service!

That was the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Pieces were huge, good quality, nice batter. Tartar sauce was delicious. Decent selection of craft beers.
If I lived in Windsor, I'd be a regular.

Always enjoy the food and staff here. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like you are home. Glad to hear that a second location is in Halifax. However the last time I was there I had the waffles with blueberry topping and the topping was frozen and so when put on top of the waffles they turned wet and cold. I scrapped off. I will return as waffles were very tasty but I won’t get topping.

This has become a regular stopping place when I’m in the area. They have a varied menu so give everything a try. I was first hooked on the fish and chips as they are some of the best. I have since tried the fish tacos and wraps all delicious. What had become my favourite was the liver and onions, most restaurants do not know how to cook that right but Fry Daddy’s nails it every time. If you are in a burger mood, this is the place, absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait until my next visit.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu is fantastic, with a HUGE variety. Serving portions were nice and big. Can't wait to go back in the summer and sit on the patio with a cold @ninelocks beverage.

From the time you walk thru the door to the time you leave , there is such a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Lots of room for seating . Excellent service, and food. Had fish , portions are large, not greasy ,( like most deep fried food),salad was not only pretty to look at but tasted great ! Will definitely return! Prices are aldo reasonable. I recently stopped in to pick up two orders of fish and chips for take out. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and was pleased to tell me the history of the restaurant, showing photos of the original site. The dining room was spotless, with sunshine streaming in the windows. I decided I would need to return one day to dine in. The fish and chips were delicious, with crunchy batter. This is a lovely neighbourhood diner of which I am now a fan!

Super good food. We were so happy to find this gem. The fish is so light on batter but delivers on crunch. Also, they have a dog friendly patio set up for your 4 legged family members.

Not too often i find a place that blows my mind, Fry Daddy's is one of the best fish, amd chips i had on this side of the country, the patio and the service is at par with the quality of the food here. If you are the Windsor area, check them out you will not be disapointed... 5/5 really really enjoyed it... Worth the detour or even the purposeful trip... Bravo!

It was our first visit there and we couldnt of asked for better service or tastier food. I ordered the 3 piece fish and chips and my wife had the Canadian Burger both were delicious and served very quickly. Servers were welcoming and polite. We will definately be returning again.

We are regular customers here. We love the fish and chips. The chicken wings are delish and breakfast is so good. I got the omelette this morning, real ham(not the sandwich meat) and mozzarella cheese yum! Plus it came with bacon and hash browns. More then I could eat. I just wish they had decaf coffee. My boys love coming here for the kids meals. Service is good and food is quick. I recommend coming here for sure!

I only got a milkshake but it was delicious. It's quite a busy spot, but that only proves it's good. I saw waitresses walk by with plates of their fish and chips and it looked so good I want to go back to try it.
